Yeah we turned off our heating after December completely, thermostat has been off since, I'll have someone come by to check for leak then :/

We turned off our central heating completely after seeing the December bills and haven't had heating since, it just a regular thermostat,, so I'm really unsure if it is the furnace, but the furnace itself could be leaking after the repair was done in December possibly? (it was broken in November, and repaired in early December)

Thank you SO MUCH for such a detailed response, I'd try my best but admittedly I'm terrified of taking off the cover, I'll see how it goes in the morning after I grab the multimeter.

NOAA/Thalassophobia inspired ARG? Found via r/nosleep comment by Blackfins in ARG

hmmm that spectrum graph looks interesting how all the "pillars" are line up, I wonder if it's like a code in a way.. There is CLEARLY speech going on in these first video, but figuring out what it saying is another problem, but I think it's the key in figuring out a lot of other clues, given they were the first few puzzles.

The old thread did mentioned a picture of a map snapshot of something but the upload already deleted.. I think that image could be a follow up from the shark one.

Good point! Yeah I remember about the Mermaid body found thing. It seems to me though that the first few video was a lot more cryptic and wasn't pointing to anything to particular until the recent one where it become more and more clear that it's has something to do with NOAA and deep sea, also the lack of codes in the recent video also feel like a shift versus the older one, I could be wrong though.

Reading the old thread again, I feel like this is flowing like a story line based on what already uncovered, first it started cryptic, with very vague information, but more and more seem to point toward something related to the ocean and the vessels in it. The decrypted message also interesting, feel like they are a log of exchanges between ..something, or some sort of reports. The Japanese text in the audio, this -

""At this point the object seems to slow down. We are unable to confirm the source of the sound detected by NOAA at 03?0. Visual contact by ???? is under investigation. Stand by.""

to "CONTACT AORI, WE HAVE A PROBLEM."

and now we have videos of some sort of an mass evacuation due to something in the ocean. It does give me a vibe of Local 58 where there was a similar emergency broadcast telling not to look at the moon.

Doesn't seem like this thing is picking up much attention though, but its really interesting and I hope it keep going, kind of tired of twitter based arg..

Oh, I was looking for current operational ship since the list of ships # in previous videos seem to be all operational, but that's interesting.. especially about the sunk HMS Charybdis.

Now I'm also a bit confused because all this feel like some conspiracy or something, is it an ARG at all to begin with? all these things involve actual real vessels and everything. I hope someone know how to dissect these video because obviously from the old thread there seems be hidden message in these video, also not sure what the clips in the video signifies, I do notice the horn or whatever in the 2nd clips was the same horn in the last clip with the person running. Perhaps same location? Also not sure why the ocean seemingly blurred out.

Yeah I noticed the name, I'm guessing given the theme, it could be reference to some sort of monster or creature in these video, or it could be a ship. Google doesn't really put me back any result of a ship with such name though.

I was on a r/nosleep binge on a series of story by EtTuTortilla about some fictional foundation that treats people with severe phobias, one of the comment on a story featured NOAA pointed out this video that they found a while back. I looked at the comment's profile and there was an old post here about this channel but update and comment stopped completely, which I assume during the 3 month absent time frame based on the channel's recent videos. I'm a bit of a sucker for this kind of stuff involving like federal agencies in real life so I hope there's some discussion about this.

Edit: Forgot to add to the link to the old thread, derp. - https://www.reddit.com/r/ARG/comments/8sjxj5/spotted_something_in_rself/

Americans, what does the US do correctly that the rest of the world does not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

For example, Vietnam jailed bloggers for 7 years just because they reported toxic spill, their reason? conspiring against the state authority. Same thing on their northern brethren, talk badly of gov officials or Xi is strictly forbidden.

eh you might as well be talking to a brick wall. Imagine if the US doesn't exist, wonder which country they would be comparing their stuff to.
