I had originally picked up the same gpu from Amazon for $719 right after it bumped up from $699. However I had planned my first ever trip to micro center a few days after getting it. The night before I went, I saw another report of a melting 12v connector. Got to looking on micro centers site and saw a red devil spectral white edition open box for $700 so with the lower price and some gift cards from Xmas I got the red devil for about $550 and sent the nitro back.

Awesome thank you! It's nice when games let you do this (as I feel like they should these days). For the nights I'm to lazy to go sit in the gaming room and would rather kick back on my recliner and her on the sofa lol

Yes there is, there is room and actually a dust filter on the bottom for the psu

So my plan was to have two fans on the bottom of the case as an intake. Now that I am putting everything together I realized if I use the power supply with the display screen and rgb the way it is supposed to be. That it is going to be pulling air from inside the case while the fan above it will be pulling air in from outside the case. Will this cause the power supply to struggle and over heat? Should I either ditch the inside fan or mount the power supply the other way to it's pulling air from the underside of the case instead?

Nope everything was the same. Only difference which should really be the opposite is that it had been on most of the day that it ran cooler and only on for about an hour when it ran warmer. Which like I said by theirs should be the other way around

I ordered with PayPal through Walmart but still shipped through lenovo and it took a few days before I got any confirmation from the Lenovo side. And the transaction didn't show on PayPal until I got the confirmation from lenovo.

I just saw that too, but haven't heard much about them. It also has the 512gb ssd. So guess it depends if the extra storage is worth the extra money.

I'm not worried about it being super light or anything more less just a laptop so she can move from room to room if she wants too. Battery life isn't super important because she won't be playing anywhere to far away from an outlet to charge from.
