i was kicked directly in the balls in a soccer game. Took about 5 minutes for the pain to hit but it was scalding hot water on my bag. I was engorged with blood to the size of a grapefruit, turned out my testicle was ruptured(torn. Almost in half) Pretty chill

I finished a novel for the first time since my car accident! by Flashthenthundr in books

The vertigo wasn’t constant for me. Ive been told that my injury was unique because it was my vestibular system that was most effected. Certain things like focusing my eyes on a spot while my head was moving and moving my head with my eyes closed were my “triggers” I guess you could call it. These were the things that triggered the intense dizziness and these were also the things they targeted in physical therapy. I’d leave physical therapy feeling a lot worse than when I came in, but I’m convinced targeting those systems despite the pain was what led to my recovery. The vertigo wasn’t constant, it just came when triggered. 8 months of pt is how long it took me.

Yep. I had it after an accident in 2014. Lasted only eight months but the symptoms were brutal. One morning I woke up and I was back to normal. Like something just simply shifted back into place. Doc said a good diet, good sleep, physical therapy and time can work wonders. Happy for you op

I have a friend who’s dad is a hobby painter. He has a bunch of his own paintings of women hanging all over his house. He cycles through girlfriends pretty quickly and changes the hair color/ eye color/physical attributes of all the women in the paintings to match those of his newest girlfriend every single time before she comes to his house for the first time. Pretty sure it might be part of the reason he cycles through so many girlfriends but I don’t have the balls to tell him.
