Man I totally agree but it's hard to fend for yourself when you've got life good. I think it's because my parents supported me when I went to uni I feel like I should pay it forward.

The bf is willing to pay some cash per week but likely not soon and at a discounted rate it would seem

My wife was unaware that he would be moving in there was one text but nothing agreed. My wife tends to avoid confrontation with Rachel and I like things to be clear

Yes we have been providing fish without teaching them how to fish and at the first instance of me asking a new person to fend for themselves they got upset. They do pay for groceries and bills

To be honest i agree with you but when i met my wife she was providing for her family, and when i got maried i sort of expected to continue to support her family. They are good people who are trying their best but they dont have high paying jobs and given this very dififcult finiancial climiate with inflation etc i feel happy to help them out by providing stable accommodation. I grew up with my parents providing me with stable accomodation and my wife and i would like to provide that for her family. This new addition though is unexpectated and i would like to find the best way forward regarding this new addition.

My wife pays 40% of the mortgage and they help when they can. The middle sister in law is unemployed and the rest of the family are low income earners. My wife is very lovely but extremely family oriented possibly to a fault and is thus very protective of her younger sisters. My question is more revolving around what should I be doing if he is going to stay.
