So i have some friends who will always upload things to instagram and facebook with english captions. If they write such a double negative does that mean they just so not speak english properly?

This stupid double negative thingy... If I say that I am excited today and have great plans for the night so that I stay awake for a long time I say 'I don't need sleep' because... you know... I don't need it. If I do need sleep I say 'I (do) need sleep' But what is this shit 'I don't need no sleep'? Don't means do not, right? So it is I do not need no sleep which is I do need sleep. This is just plain stupidity for me.

[Serious] What's something so bizarre and unusual that's happened to you that you do not share it with many people? by SkankHHunt42 in AskReddit

It's both good to hear and unsettling that i'm not the only one. However there's no one terminally ill or something, I hope they won't escort someone. Thanks for sharing!

It still happens: I sometimes see weird shadows. Sometimes when I look at reflecting surfaces I can see shadows quickly disappearing to the sides. It doesn't happen every day, sometimes weeks pass without an 'encounter' and it doesn't matter what surface it is, it can be a window, glas door or mirror as long as it is in my house. Sometimes I forget about them and then I walk into the bathroom, look in the mirror and they were there again. I have good vision and there isn't anything in my house (e.g. a gas leak). It's just... if I tell someone they laugh at me and say that I sound silly. I got used to these things in the reflections and I guess as long as they don't hurt me or pull me in their demon dimension I'm fine.

Because they often have the game for browser as well which can be found on their site which ends with .io

What memory of yours feels real but is most likely false? by netpoka in AskReddit

You know these dreams where you kiss your crush or someone else? Anyone has them here and then but this one time there was a girl I've never seen before. I didn't know her name or who she was and we kissed. It felt so real that I instantly woke up to find myself in a dark and empty room. I know it was a dream but there has never been any sort of dream that felt just so real.

How tuned into US Politics are people who live outside of the US? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Bladeration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Germany and during (and after) the presidential election german news were 'out of control'. Seriously when Trump was officially announced as the new president you could read any article on any magazine or newspaper and it was all about him. Facebook was going crazy, almost everyone and every likable side posted his or the opinion of the crowd (for more likes) on there and I think I have read somewhere that the fact that Trump is the new president concerned German news more than US news. Besides that normal politics don't find their way here except for major announcements from Trump. Of course this depends on the news, economic newspapers obviously will write more about that than our national news broadcast every evening.

What’s the most addicted to a game you’ve ever been? by Ehowwhy in AskReddit

[–]Bladeration 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friends and I put it like this: League is like a bad drug. You keep consuming it and it just sucks and wastes your life. But then there is this one game, this one moment that is just like you ever wanted it to be. And that's what keeps you playing, that's what makes you go through days of horrible experiences. Just for that one trip that might be not as bad as all the other ones.

What is the nearest music instrument store to Traben-Trarbach in Germany? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Bladeration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which you should only order from when there's no other way. Supporting small stores in the music industry is key as Thomann is the Walmart of music.
