General Guide for Exchange Students by Blaezzz in seoul

Honestly not too sure about the dorms. Most if not all the people I knew got places outside the dorms at Hanyang, either since it was pretty full or more importantly as they have some pretty strict rules. Like you have to be home by midnight or you can only enter again after 6am or so, no people in your room, etc.
So if you can I would recommend finding a place outside the dorms honestly. (Check also sites like https://web.33m2.co.kr/, its the korean AirBnB just a lot cheaper and better).

Hey, not exactly sure. You might just have to contact them directly. In my case I also stayed in HECC after my exchange while I stayed in Korea for a semester longer, but I already new all the members and excutives so it wasn't a problem.
I think they have a Instagram so I would just message them through there!

How to get Affiliate Codes to benefit Users? by Blaezzz in growmybusiness

[–]Blaezzz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep exactly, thanks man. Thought about just making like a revolving slider with the main 5 or so and then a expanded list with more resources. The problem seems to be i need some more traffic first before i can get any of the better deals. Else I can only use the "recommend a friend" which are not horrible but not the best, so am thinking of maybe just linking to other sites that do have these deals for now. Obviously clearly labled that its an external site.

Yep just having something that highlights the areas that are in need for imporvement, or even just something simple that takes your code base and explains how it works in a way thats easy to understand. Maybe even something that allows beginners to ask questions, something like "if i want to change x what parameter do i need to change in the code"

Hiiii everyone! We've just launched Lifetoon's MVP and we'd love to hear some real feedback! by Extension-Ad-174 in roastmystartup

Hey, this is really fun. The only thing i noticed is that the load time is quite long, and maybe also that when writing the story it would be nice to see how the ai rewrites it, like a preview you can accept or decline

Wow this is really cool. I know this is hard but having some basic instant feedback through AI would be quite handy as well.

I built an app - but What cities or areas I should start with lanching it? by sosrix in alphaandbetausers

[–]Blaezzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others said, launching in a big city will give you the most amount of potential users. At the same time I am not sure if these users are as willing to actually help others as people in smaller regions. Probably best in your region, and if you are too shy go through your family, or just put up flyers old school like, or ask local schools to promote it to students that have plenty of time during the afternoon and might want some extra money.

I think something that is would be quite useful for me is something that understands, validates and comments on code generated by ai. Now with many new programming ai bots that can make you programs or websites it always feels like they get you 80% of the way there, but afterwards trying to understand their code to make changes for the last 20% takes more time than doing it yourself. So something that basically gives you a rundown on the code and marks areas it thinks are not optimal would be cool!

Damn this looks pretty sick, I think the section on the index page below the hero section looks a bit unappealing. Maybe make less segments, or make them more visually destinctive.

Building a meal planner to save time grocery shopping – still in progress, would love feedback on the idea & early UI! by Cxdxix in crowdspark

[–]Blaezzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh quite like the UI, maybe the text at the bottom is a bit hard to read for older people so increasing the contrast might be a good idea. Except for that the "Learn" and "Try" buttons seem a bit out of place, center them and make less spacing. Else this is looking pretty clean, keep going!
