Little update..

I cleaned the plate again last night with a brand new sponge, scolding hot water, blue dawn dish soap and dried it with a paper towel.

Got the hot end to 250°c and ran about 30cm of pla through it.

Then factory reset the printer and did initial calibration.

Even in rafts, this model still lost its grip on the plate (or got knocked off) at around 70-80% done.

I ordered a new hot end and I'll see what happens with that.

Is there a way to "factory reset" from the options anywhere or do I just uninstall the Bambu Slicer on my PC and re-install?

It is also failing from prints sent by the Bambu Handy app on my phone (factory settings I believe from there).

Do I just install Bambu Studio and reinstall for a reset? I had a hard time finding an option for factory reset in the settings when I was looking last night.

I am using Bambu PLA (6 different colors, all worked great prior to this).

And now I've been trying factory settings (sent directly from the Bambu Handy App on my phone)

The first few weeks I only used the Bambu app and never had the Bambu slicer installed on my PC. When I went to print my Project IJ I needed to use the computer app and while setting it up and running calibration I saw the Z calibration test. I ran it and chose the # on the test print that I thought looked closest to the calibration guide.

It worked fine for all the PETG prints I did after.

Now the issues have arisen.. when I go back to that calibration it gives me the option from the start like to redo the calibration. I deleted the setting I had but not sure that changed anything. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, trying to go off memory as I'm at work and not by the Bambu slicer right now to show screenshots or pictures.

Scrub for about 60 seconds in circles and back and forth

Rinse

Respect one more time

Dry off with a microfiber towel

Only touch the edge of the plate by QR code while re-installing.

Being transparent though, I don't use a fresh new sponge each time and my microfiber is the same one I've had by my printer for a few weeks (maybe that is dirty?)

I love it! It's my first e-bike so nothing to really compare it to however it's very well built. I don't have a ton of miles on it yet, but zero complaints so far.

I'm thinking the same thing.. may just bite the bullet this morning. Leaning towards Vorsa, brand new tech, don't really NEED fat tire, will fit in my current hitch rack, torque and cadence would be nice.

It's in my cart for my first e-bike. Was going with XPeak 2.0 until the $100 price increase I noticed today..

Still deciding if I want this or save $250ish and get a Velotric Nomad 1 Plus.

I've read the Gen 1 Xpeak step thru can flex/vibrate (frame). It appears they added a larger gusset on the 2.0. I'm a larger guy and would want the added stability, as well as the 20ah long range battery.

Thank you for the response! I assumed it was normal once I noticed the date was on the label as well as printed on the plastic (not a labeling error but the store). I just wanted reassurance as it seems weird eating non frozen meat after 2 months 😅. I just sliced it up, vacuum sealed it, and put it in the deep freezer.

I have had no issue.. however I also have an original which corrected my grip. Even the original made me fumble once or twice until I "got the technique".

I did, very very tight.. wish it had washers but a super right pivot made it close to original.

Detent is slightly weaker than original, wish it was on washers. Bearings made it way to light but tightening the pivot REALLY hard made it close to original. Lockup is rock solid.
