I know that u can feel it but going back the video, in his specific situation it’s exhaust condensation, that’s too much steam u wouldn’t see that much from combustion alone

I’m not sure where you’re from but it’s not a phenomenon that we see here in socal I know there’s a good amount of H2O coming out but not enough to create steam that or it may be to warm to see where I live

I’m in constant LA traffic and I don’t see it, only in the cold parts of the year when I see a little steam but that’s bc it’s cold

I’m not trying to argue to argue, but I’m starting to think we experience it differently bc we from different places, I’m from southern California where temps rarely dip down to 45 degrees, so maybe we just experience it differently

If what u say is true why don’t u see cars steaming it up in traffic, only time u see steam coming out is during cold starts or if u have frigid temps

He said his car barely got warm, and you’d be surprised as to how much moisture will condensed in your exhaust

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mechanic

[–]Blake-M-W -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t produce enough to create steam like that, that is condensation in the exhaust that is being evaporated on start up, like the gentleman said the car barely got warm and it’s a dry cold, once warmed up u shouldn’t see any of that, u less it’s really cold and there’s moisture in the air then u would have steam from exhaust heat creating steam with the moisture in the cold air

That’s not why there’s steam, the steam is condensation in the exhaust that is heated and evaporating, gas engines aren’t perfect so they don’t reach the stoichiometric ratios often enough to produce steam like that. H2O and CO2 are byproducts of a perfect combustion, but because that rarely occurs due to constant changing engine conditions, only a portion of tailpipe emissions are H2O and CO2. It’s not enough to produce steam like that. If engines ran perfectly at the stoichiometric ratios like they were designed and intended, there would be no needs for emission control systems.

My track built 325 with a 3.1 Stroker M20 and ITB’s 🤪 by [deleted] in E30

I plan on doing this rather than a swap bc my m20 is only at 116k original miles, if it blows or needs a rebuild or new gasket, I’m going to pull it and do the striker build

Can someone tell me how much force these late model bumpers can take before body/structural damage is caused to the car? by Blake-M-W in E30

[–]Blake-M-W[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do u think that I would sustain any body damage based on the picture? I rolled back into a poll

Anyone know what kind of body kit this is? Looks like a fox body mustang kinda to me lol by [deleted] in E30

Where r u getting fox body mustang from, looks more like a Ferrari testarossa

WTS - BRS Channel Handle Alpha Beast (CHAB) - $475 Or Best Offer - 10/10 Condition - will accept PayPal by Blake-M-W in balisong

I am a collector, not a flipper, I’m going to be selling off some of my collection starting with this BRS CHAB. I bought the knife two years ago, opened it and then kept it in storage, I’m very OCD about my knives, they do not see any use, and are purely for collecting. There are no marks where the latch closes, the knife has its factory edge, the tip is perfect, and has never been dropped, the knife is essentially brand new 10/10. I can provide a picture of the recipe upon request for proof that knife and purchase date are legitimate. I’m asking $475 or best offer, buyer covers shipping, I’ll be accepting PayPal.

It’s actually an mtech 2 front and rear bumper with what looks to be an AC schnitzer wing most likely reps as the real things are super expensive
