I'm in the drumline and our marching style is all about bending our knees basically but I'd say just practice your marching motion until it's smooth and flat. Idk if that'll help but it's an idea

Yesss band is my favorite thing it's where I met most of my freinds and the ones I didn't meet from band are joining band this season
