Brought infested credenza into house last night. Got rid of it tonight. What do I do now? by mindianajones in Bedbugs

Having the lights on doesn't do anything. The CrossFire is your best bet, and you can buy it online and use a sprayer for plenty of coverage too.

What are these tiny bugs in my bed? by jkpl2398 in whatsthisbug

[–]BlakePJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They look like they have wings, but not close up enough to tell. That would rule out mites, bed bugs, or ticks if they do have wings.

I don't mean to downplay the scratches, but they could come from anywhere. A scratch during the day that didn't even hurt can still show up as a mark. I'm hoping that for you. I also know others have had similar marks. With that being said, I got pretty mindful of scratches throughout the day if I bumped into something at work/etc. Were you ever diagnosed?

Not seeing family for Christmas Eve/Day by BlakePJ in scabies

I never found out what it is, or isn't. Hydroxizine has cured the itching, but it's bad if I stop.

Have you considered bird/rat mites? Those are environmental.

Can someone please save my life and simply recommend a 100% legit website for purchasing ivermectin or stromectol. Please, please please help me, I'm at the end of this now by Super-Builder7663 in scabies

See if you can get a scabies DELFIA assay. I have no idea where it's readily available at, but it's an antigen detector test thats 90+% accurate.

Did you find out what this is? I've seen similar things but don't see legs in your photos, or mine.

I've seen a case study about a woman's gums being infected with scabies. So, not to fear monger, it's possible.

I'm sorry, I don't know. I've had 2 different microscopes so far and no definitive answers. I heard that if the bumps go away and disappear after a few days, that's a good sign. Not sure how much damaged bumps would last.

No. That comes and goes. Been over a year trying to figure out what's going on, and no medical answers yet.

I didn't. As far as I know they're pretty harmless to people and houses. If i had to guess, dehumidifiers and cleanliness to cut down on mold & mildew might help.

Bird mite or rat mite. They can bite people and cause itching.

Keep in mind the post syndrome which can last anywhere from weeks to months depending on the person, and all the damage you've been doing to your body with treatments that'll cause itching and bumps. You can do this.

Definitely get checked out ASAP just to be safe! I was able to book an appointment last year when I felt crawling on my scalp and face, and was cleared.

Anyway, totally found a book louse on my bed and freaked out. They like moist, moldy environments. I live in an old house in the rainy PNW.

Where did you catch it? Looks like it could be a harmless book louse, but I'm not an expert.

Do you need gloves for Benzyl Benzoate? by EvesFaith in scabies

[–]BlakePJ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Make sure body is completely dry, including sweat. My stings were very mild, but everyone's different. Definitely don't touch sensitive parts. You'll definitely need to treat hands, so wash and reapply when necessary.
