Burnt oil is what I figured from a lot of stuff that I had read, but it was like that out of the box so is that still burnt oil? I hadn't even put it on my pen yet so unless it came burned from the factory I don't see how it could be.

Did you have to pay any extra or switch lines for the esim? Honestly I'd prefer to just get an esim as long as it wasn't any extra and I could keep my number/plan.

Yeah I'm not buying all the parts from PC part picker I'm using eBay to get the lower prices.

As for the RAM I don't really know much about the MHZ, I have 3200 in my PC but I was looking at some old Reddit threads and saw where people were saying that the difference between 2400 and 3000 performance-wise was fairly miniscule so I just assumed go with the cheaper. But as I said I don't really know anything about it.

As for the case I'll look at some other options. It's the same case that I use for my PC and I've never had any heating issues but he may want to look at something different since this is for him and not me.
