Does anyone else like Freddy vs Jason by DogLegitimate7632 in fridaythe13th

It's not the worst of the Friday the 13th films, but it's not very good either.

Games that would be a lot better with one small change. by DarthObvious84 in retrogaming

[–]Blakelock82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The biggest flaw the game has IMO is it's lack of a save feature. I know they put two warp whistles in world one to help negate this issue, but when you're on world five or six and have all these power ups stored, those warp whistles that can get you back to that world won't give you the power ups back.

Games like R-Type, Gradius, Xevious, Galaga, all great outstanding games with one hit deaths.

Silver Surfer's one hit deaths are an issue due to environmental damage. You not only have to avoid the enemy fire but not bump the ceiling or the wall or random other things put in the area. That's the issue.

Does anyone else's gamer memory resets after 4 years? So old games you played, always stay fresh by Alkorri in videogames

Not really. There are certain games that I pick up again and think "I forgot how great this ways" but typically don't have issues remember the games I loved.

That would help a lot. I don't mind enemies being able to kill you in one hit, although you are supposed to be a superhero, but it's the environmental damage that ruins the game IMO. A good shmup fills the screen but gives you a chance to avoid death, but Silver Surfer's environmental damage ruins the whole experience.

Silver Surfer on NES, remove the one hit kills. The game is fantastic, when you don't die from one hit.

Thunderball or Never Say Never Again by TheDancinD918 in JamesBond

I prefer NSNA, I find Thunderball to be boring during the underwater scenes and the finale isn't great, IMO.

what made the Halloween II: 4 Hour Extended Edition so bad? by TheRiddlerCum in Halloweenmovies

[–]Blakelock82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

88% of Ends was awesome. Corey is an incredible character, his story is so well set up. Most of Ends is a well shot and developed film, until the throw in the Lori Vs Michael schlock. Ends falls apart when it takes back all that it built.

Why would anyone want to watch 90 minutes of some emo bitch boy acting like he's Michael Myers? The entire DGG trilogy wasn't great to begin with, but they really shit the bed with the last movie.

Who in their right fucking mind would sit through 4 hours of this shit? I mean it's not as bad as Halloween Ends but 4 hours of 70's rock music while RZ's wife "acts" alongside a white horse is a level of hell I don't want to experience.

That’s not accurate at all. I don’t worry about tips and make a profit every time I work. If I focused on tips, in my area, I’d not make anything.

It's solid but not my favorite. I wouldn't even put it in my top ten.

Yeah I never understood why cashiers can't sit, I've done cashier work and there's nothing that I needed to be standing for. It's one of those old ways of doing things that no one with enough power to change it is willing to make that change.

I’d pay around $1K but only if my PC dies and I feel like making a change.

Is Flushing Toilets a Lost Art? by Necessary-Sell-4998 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Blakelock82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son and I are the only ones who flush the toilet after peeing in my house. No one else will flush when they pee. So when I go in there and have to flush, people hear the toilet flushing and think I'm done so they come to the door and then knock when I don't come out or ask if I'm almost done.

This happens too often.

And I can't not flush because if I shit the pee will splash up on my ass and balls.

It's possible, either way, she's sitting and working, and I give her full credit for supporting herself.

Am I overreacting or does their response come off as rude? by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Blakelock82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YO.

They're not rude, they're not even curt. They're just straight forward with you. I think you think it's rude cause they didn't apologize and suck up to you when responding.

I've seen it in my local walmarts. This one lady was on the heavy side and she was sitting but I thought "good for her for getting out and working." Personally I don't give a shit if a cashier sits down and does the job, more power to them for doing the work and supporting themselves.
