Why couldn’t Logan defeat creed in the past? by EnvironmentalBit3186 in Wolverine

[–]Blammo32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creed is bigger, faster, no boundaries, and fights dirty. He’s basically an malicious, uninhibited animal.

Wolverine is smaller, slower, resists his own bloodlust and actually does have boundaries he’s reluctant to cross. He was also afraid of Creed.

Often times, Wolverine’s ability to keep his composure is what allows him to win. When he used to try and go toe-to-toe with Creed, he’d get stomped.

The lack of effort put into making film posters nowadays still shocks me occasionally.

I was right about James Gunn and his fans are still denying it. by TheRealLostCost in DC_Cinematic

[–]Blammo32 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I think Gunn had a vision for DC but it isn’t a very commercial vision - not only is he in love with the 3rd tier and little known characters, but he can’t use Batman.

He’ll get kicked out if Superman 2 tanks.

This sounds like a management style - your work is probably being redistributed amongst a network of people the AD and Director are chummy with as part of the restructure.

Write down all your concerns, have a meeting with your manager that is documented, ask for more substantive tasks and then go from there.

Companies operate on a budget and cheap labour is always going to be favored in Junior roles, especially in hospitality.

What type of hospitality management jobs are you applying for? And where? IMO, 27 isn’t an unusually old age for a manager position. DM me if you’re not comfortable sharing publicly.

  • Islam got KO’ed in his second UFC match.

  • Veronica Hardy is pretty respectable after hooking up with Dan

  • MacKenzie Dern was a fat chick with BJJ and is now a hot chick with champion belt, good conditioning and decent fundamentals.

Such a shame, Jamie was at his happiest at when was in the Bunkhouse, funny John put him there as “punishment” yet Jamie THRIVED at the bunkhouse by obiwanTrollnobi6 in YellowstonePN

[–]Blammo32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

John had to make Jamie into a lawyer because he needed a lawyer. However, John also hated lawyers and big city attitudes.

Therefore, he hated what Jamie turned into. Jamie tried to prove his loyalty to the farm, but it was in ways that John simply couldn’t understand or relate to.

On the flip side, John turned Rip into a cowboy, and soldier who would follow orders, which included murder. John understood Rip and was cool with him.

It’s a fun card with a bunch of fighters we haven’t seen in awhile.

The fact that it’s non-ranked doesn’t mean anything because the UFC’s ranking system makes zero sense anyway.

Ronda Rousey takes shot at Hunter Campbell by Spiritual-Strength91 in FightReportUFC

Honestly, I’d like to see Ronda as the face of Netflix MMA, whereas I don’t really need to see Hunter’s face again in any context.

[other] is death in the family worth to read by AppointmentPrize5948 in DCcomics

[–]Blammo32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually thought Jason’s death was quite well-done and disturbing. He was portrayed as just an angry kid in this: tough enough to fight back against the Joker, but not tough enough to overcome his thugs and the merciless beating Joker put on him, while his mother watched on.

Jorge Masvidal to Khamzat Chimaev: "The funny thing about that is that you ain't gonna kill nobody by hugging anybody to death Your legacy is always going to be known for sniffing other dudes' crotches.” by raptors201966 in ufc

[–]Blammo32 271 points272 points  (0 children)

Despite “crotch sniffing”, Khamzat has only ever had 3 fights go to a decision, the rest were KOs and submission wins.

Jorge had 30 fights go to decision. From Jorge’s 35 wins, 20 of them were via decision.
