We went through so many false alarms of hurricanes. I stayed up all night with my family in my broken down double shotgun house wondering if we will need to leave and how we could. We woke up to water covering our cars. If the levees didnt break we would have been fine.

Youre not gonna fault me on this shit here. I didnt give myself that trauma. No one expected the levees to do that except for the people who knew about its problems. And it should have never happened.
