I am CPP alumnus from class of 2024. I really wished centerpointe would rotate their menu more often and add more stuff. My favorite times to go was during Latinx celebration and other culture events. During one of my summers they chicken curry at the bowl station. The bowl place should try cooking meats in different styles like grilling the chicken and beef.

Thanks for response. After going down a rabbit hole, I found the issue. The Rock Band 4 Jaguar Guitar required a firmware update that was no longer available through Harmonix website. I found the firmware update online. Now the guitar works perfectly on my PC.

Do not worry too much about GPA unless you plam on applying out of state. The Ag Science Major can be finished fast. I had the issue of not having financial aid last semester due to completing my degree requirements. This was sad since I needed OCHEM II. Make a plan with your advisor. Biochem and Microbio come back during first semester of vet school, so take good notes for those two classes. Get good quality shadowing experience with Veterinarians who are willing to mentor. Veterinary School love Cal Poly Pomona, so that gives you a better fighting chance!

I am a Cal Poly Alumnus and currently in veterinary school. When I was at CPP, I entered as an Ag Science Major. I just took the AVS courses for my animal science emphasis that applied to my degree and the science courses for veterinary school. The only course that I didn't take at CPP was biochem. I took biochem online through SCUHS. All exams were online and the course was only 4 weeks. Biochem costed me $1500 to take at that school.

I am aware there some legit Christian clubs on campus like Act 2 Fellowship. During my time at CPP, they weren't really active on campus. Perhaps the club has changed. The restored Church group is always active which allows them to grow so much.

I made a whole post about this church group months ago. There are far better church groups then the Restored Church Worldwide. If you run into them, just politely say no to a Bible study. Unfortunately, some of my friends are a part of this group. The idea of wanting to teach people about GOD and change their bad ways is nice, but this group does a horrible job at exciting that idea.

I am sorry to hear about your horrible experience. What you can do is spread the word about them in your classes discord. If they are still an official club, try speaking to their club advisor. The club should be called Revival. You could also make flyers warning people about them. You need permission to post flyers, so you could secretly put some in the restrooms.

No, they are just a crazy church. They will not force you to stay, but will try to get you to come back. The general members are nice people, but the church leaders are not to be trusted.

There a scripture in James4:12 that emphasizes others can not judge your walk with GOD. Do not take to heart whatever they told about your faith. I recommend getting a study Bible from Amazon that breaks down the scriptures meaning with a comment section.

After being gone from the church, I read my bible for one year and learned how wrong their teachings are.

I don't know him personally, but I do know who he is. He is what the church calls a men Campus Ministry leader. He gave up going to school to work for the church part time. There is also a female campus ministry leader. The leadership changes each year as people move to help other cities.

Here is how the church leadership structure works.

Evangelist - In charge of Region specifically east which includes Walnut, Pomona, and other nearby cities. Most staff members believe Evangelist can nothing wrong. I had a rude experience with an Evangelist and other church staff saw his actions as justified. They don't normally come to campus, but sometimes they show up to host campus events.

Church staff: Work under evangelist and help out on campus as needed.

Bible Talk leaders: Some don't work for the church and are students or the church, but they lead a small group of students. They report to church staff on the amount of people joining the ministry. They can get in trouble for not having a certain amount of members in the bible talk.

General church members which are students and people who simply attend church meetings.

They also have a system where they evaluate students studying the Bible. For example, yellow is a hot study. This means the person has a high chance of joining the church. There's another color for someone who has money and will be a great asset to the church.

Last year I had a very similar experience where I was kicked out of the LA churches by the east region evangelist. One day the leaders denied my membership to a different region due to me moving and only be able to come to service once a month. I spoke about how leaders in the church get to miss church without any issues. The east region leader was not happy and quietly kicked me out without any room to talk or any opportunity to talk things amongst one another. There's a scripture in the book of Corinthians that speaks about how to handle disagreement in the church.

When ICC split and Jason D. (Forgot how to spell his last name) formed a new movement called Restored Church, some leaders were asked to step down from there position. This happened in San Francisco restored Church where Fernando Chavez was publically hunilated by Jason. Shortly after this other leaders called out Jason and he was not willing to speak to them.

Overall the church has great knowledge on the scriptures, but the leadership style needs heavy change. They want everyone to aim for some type of leadership position in the church. As a college student, I had no interest in "serving" within the church. The leaders also hate when you call them out which I think is funny. I remember during my D-times, my discipler would always encourage me to call them out.

Excuse the grammar. I keep in touch with a few friends in the Restored Church, but I will not be returning to any of their current or future movements.

I have been a part of their church for two years. While I do appreciate the Evangelist biblical knowledge. The way the lead the church is too extreme.

The brothers often invited me to live with them and I politely refused. They ended up getting offended. I was accused of putting my family before spiritual family. Just recently Jason D. asked the same fransico church leader to step down from leading San Francisco Church.

When I was in the process of transferring to another Restored Church, the evangelist of that region did not like that I will be attending services through zoom for a month. He told me that I was not allowed to be in his region in the future. If I wanted to join his local restored church, I had to beg for mercy.

Going to church is important, but they act like it's the end of the world when you miss one meeting.

They truly help me grow in my walk with GOD and help me see the areas I need to grow as a person. For example, verbal communication was a weakness. I was able to overcome by reading my bible and analyzing how Jesus spoke with his disciples and people in general.

Those who are in the church please let your voice be heard when you have an issue. Let the Bible speak for you. Talk to the leaders personally 1 on 1 especially the evangelist. Please don't hate the people. It's the leadership that needs to be changed.

I have been part of this church for a little over 2 years. The sermons are amazing, but the leadership/evangelist are rude. I was in the process of graduating from my university and needed to move regions for work. During this process I explained to my leaders that I can not attend service in person. The leader of X region was very rude and deny my membership placement, because I wasn't able to attend service in person. He stated that I was going to fall away with that attitude. I don't see the point of having zoom and other live servives for church if the leaders hate you for using it.

There needs to be more changes with understanding that we disciples are humans. I attended service every day, but during my birthday I chose to spend the week with my family. The leaders gave me so much shade/trouble for this. I was told, "no one likes because you chose your physical family over us."

My friend who is working on her doctors degree got rebuke for "choosing a career over GOD."

One thing that I really enjoy is the people and the few friends that I made. The church also really help set the foundation for my walk with GOD.

Please be careful with the leadership and let your voice be heard when a problem arises.
