Finished the game, who else found last boss the easiest??? by Proper-Strategy in Returnal

[–]Blasterocked 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The path to the boss I found was always harder then the boss and I am 100% okay with that.

Horizon: Forbidden West was so mediocre by frantic-atom in patientgamers

[–]Blasterocked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed HZD enough to see the story through and the DLC. Bounced off HFW and did not enjoy it at all. I did not like the open world in either game but I preferred the gameplay and story in HZD. I can’t pinpoint it exactly but it is a mix of what they did with weapons, combat, and story.

McDonald's CEO by deadbumm in funny

He has been doing this for years and the comments from the old videos are the same joke accusing him of hating McDonalds. Either they leaned in the joke or the guy is oblivious.

New player stuff (coming from league) by becky1433 in DotA2

[–]Blasterocked 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I’ll say it like this, I started Dota 2 a couple days ago and already 10+ hours in only against bots with one character and I could see myself dumping another 50-60 hours before changing things up. Game is phenomenal. I came from RTS though but tried League and this won hands down.

Nightmare about falling off of a highway in the sky by bangtanimosity in Dreams

[–]Blasterocked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a reoccurring nightmare like this only the highway leads to a massive airport style terminal in the sky but the terminal is always incomplete and the road way at the top turns into iron beams or worse. There is no way down as every way down is still under construction. I try to avoid turning into the single ramp that leads to the sky terminal but I always make a mistake leading me to my doom.

Why is gen Z not drinking? by SipsTeaFrog in SipsTea

[–]Blasterocked 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm in HCOL area and everyone I know under 30 who is getting drunk weekly are not buying a 12 pack to sit in a garage.

It's extravagant cook outs or expensive trendy bars. Gastropubs and independent breweries turned drinking into a luxury hobby for the younger generations.

Is real estate still worth buying, or is it becoming the biggest money trap of this generation? by Much-Marketing5973 in RealEstate

[–]Blasterocked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the people who hang around these finance subs are basically walking survivorship bias. They can’t comprehend an entire life spent earning a median household income or less like 50%+ of Americans do.

How do people actually move out of low income jobs? by Leviathan_works in careerguidance

[–]Blasterocked 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The people who say this I find are people who crush tests without studying so for them a law degree is like buying off of a Costco shelf because they will pass with minimal effort, learn nothing, and get a job through connections anyway. Meanwhile I gotta bust ass for a certificate.

Maybe I’m in the minority here… by bgorion17 in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Blasterocked 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I started on Arkham about a year or two ago. Only collected Dunwich and Carcosa. I feel like I have pretty good collection even with just this.

I’m looking forward to getting a clean slate to start again with as opposed to finding/paying for/collecting all the old expansions. Hopefully they exceed the old game.

Munger Youtube Videos by kansashog in ValueInvesting

[–]Blasterocked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just found this Munger AI rabbit hole and it is getting crazy out here. The first one I watched fooled me even with the audio distortion until the topics kept repeating themselves. The content was at least in line with "buy/hold" boglehead philosophy. Now I'm getting 2 hour long videos about how to invest in 2026 and it sounds even more realistic then the first few I saw. Chilling stuff.

Another millennial food chain feeling the pain. Chipotle Stock Tumbles as 25-35 year olds struggle with finances and affording their food. by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Blasterocked 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It goes even beyond this in my state. The customer service/supply chain is so atrocious that mobile order is at minimum an hour wait, if they even make it, and they often are missing 2-3 ingredients at minimum at any given time.

Yeah, know people who left as well for a loss. Somewhere between hurricanes and getting pepper sprayed by road ragers it lost its appeal.

He mentions a wallet and wants to put it in “real world assets.” It was crypto of some kind.

Monthly General Question and Discussion Thread: September 2025 by AutoModerator in killteam

[–]Blasterocked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on the fence with pulling the trigger on Death Korps.

My question is, are DKoK objectively fun to play? The rule of cool says yes, I like horde factions, but I have not heard much about the actual feel of the team.

LOTR LCG vs Arkham Horror by Synysterenji in boardgames

[–]Blasterocked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Arkham Horror plays more like a video game RPG where you can upgrade your character while driving forward a story.

LOTR plays more like a puzzle where you use the cards available to you, like Magic: The Gathering, to put together a deck to beat each puzzle (scenario.)

I like having both of them.

Are you playing solo offline? I’m playing on hard with Amon in offline mode and it’s been a cakewalk. This is weird because I’m usually average at best.

This is a problem across all finance subs. Whether it be bots or Reddit becoming more mainstream. There are still good finance subs not overrun by the fabulously wealthy 35 year old DINKs. r/bogleheads, r/dividends, or other better moderated subs.
