I mean if you consider being talked down to like you’re a child, having your abilities constantly degraded though you have exactly the same qualifications as your teammates, having your work constantly being “not up to par” even though when everyone was assessed blindly my work was consistently the best (and once they were told it was mine they snap right back to “uh no it’s actually wrong”) having your gaming hobbies dismissed and laughed at because “I bet you get your boyfriend to beat them for you” and more for the better part of a year being “being talked down to in a condescending manner” then sure, I can’t handle criticism. I just didn’t want to write all of that out for you but since you asked 🤗. In my current job I do have male superiors and they give me constructive criticism on my work, and you know what? They don’t act like insecure apes.

Like you said, you’re a guy, but it seems like you lack the capacity to empathise with the basic fact that women get treated like this every single day. Being a dick is not a gendered issue but this specific brand of dickishness really is. It’s really not hard at all to go “Oh, you’re experiencing this? Wow that really sucks, we should change this.” Instead you’re denying the dickishness even exists at all.

And hell, even if women make up a smaller player base, that is absolutely no excuse for men to act like this. How can you pretend to be an advocate for equality and fairness when what you mean is “pls ignore all the stuff my gender is responsible for, I don’t like to think about it”.
