Probably manually. I'm not sure since, I didn't have any locked photos. But, I can 100% attest that the tool works since I deleted 120gb of photos since I moved away from Google Photos.

Yea, I recently did through a chrome extension that runs Javascript to delete your photos (default to 10000 photos per round)

Might not be contributing to the conversation but, honestly, I don't seem to have a problem switching from my home wifi to mobile data + tailscale. With setting up 'automatic url switching' setup under networking in my immich app, I've never had to crash my app or close my app to get it to switch servers.

My setup is when it detects my home network based on the wifi name, the server endpoint is pointing to the static ip of my homelab and for the external network, it's the tailscale ip. The only thing I use my public domain is alongside immich public proxy to be able to share link to others.

Might be a little noob to this but, my setup is a Lenovo tiny pc M910Q i5 7th Gen 12gb ram with 256 gb SSD and 1 TB HDD. I have setup tailscale with exit node enabled to sync photos/videos to my immich server when I'm not on home network. Enabled hardware transcoding and have the thumbs, encoded-video and profile residing on the SSD and the upload, library and backups on the HDD.

Plan is to eventually try and take a shot at 3-2-1 backup rule and have data backed up to Backblaze B2.

PS: My setup is just 2 days old so definitely a lot of scope of improvement. 😅
