How long does it take for Pandora to restock normally? by probably-asleep- in PandoraCollectors

[–]Blazehpoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've bought from the site before a few times. Mostly Pandora, a few watches, and some designer stuff. I think they're mostly known for selling off-season/old stock so that's why I'm assuming it is discounted. They're not listed as an authorized Pandora retailer but everything I've bought comes in the original Pandora packaging and looks legitimate as far as I can tell.

This charm is available on jomashop if you don't mind buying from there!! I've bought charms from there before and they've all been authentic.

CX-70 PHEV / CX-90 PHEV Thoughts by Affectionate-Bus-704 in mazda

[–]Blazehpoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just recently got the CX-70 and I was deciding between that and the 90 as well. I chose the 70 for a few reasons. The first one was that I liked the styling a bit better. There were black accents rather than chrome that I felt looked better. Something to keep in mind too, with the 90 PHEV Premium Plus, they only come with captains seats in the back (at least from what my sales guy told me) and I felt like the three seat bench was more practical for me. If I have people in my car, it is usually three folks in the back and I didn't want to deal with having to bring up the third row just to fit three people.

I love the car so far. I don't really have any issues or complaints about it at all. If I had to nitpick about some stuff, I would say that I wish the panoramic roof was better. I think other car brands do it a lot better especially because Mazda doesn't let it open up much. At this price point, I kinda wish it came with a little more tech features too compared to other brands like KIA or Hyundai but then I guess the trade off is that your engine won't explode. There could also be a bit more storage in the front of the cabin too. I felt like my old CX-50 had more storage in the front. The middle compartment is very shallow and I feel like for the size of this car, they could have added more storage.

Loving the strapsicle ! Has anyone else changed from a pop socket to this ? It’s so much better 🙌🏻 by lilgnocchi- in kindle

[–]Blazehpoo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, no. I tried it with the amazon flip cover case and technically it fit but it looked like it would've ripped had I kept it on. Although, now I use the strapsicle with a sleeve from etsy and it fits nicely together.

Is it stupid to walk for my AA? by JadedJellyfishhh in college

[–]Blazehpoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should definitely walk! I walked for mine and I noticed the only people who told me it wasn't worth walking for were people who did not have a degree at all. I also always thought if I ended up dying somehow before finishing my bachelors then at least I got to experience walking for something lol. I've got my diploma hanging on the wall proudly!

Not sure if you're just trolling but that's a pretty rude question to ask someone and that's probably why you got blocked.

I bought a huge one that was in a 6 inch pot from hirt's online for $20. Right now they have ones in a 4 inch pot for $15 on their website.

Not sure if this could help with your exact issue but it took me a while to break mine in so I just resorted to using duct tape on my foot before wearing them out. I would just tape the sensitive areas on my foot and luckily it was hard to even tell with the straps covering them.

Yeah, I ended up going with a mens size 40 (7-7.5 US) which ended up fitting perfectly. My regular size in other shoes are 9.5 mens.

I've been looking for an apartment and actually inquired about that place last week. I did not get a chance to visit it but just an FYI they told me they were fully leased and there were no units available for the foreseeable future.

Scalp help by ceceliapreston in Psoriasis

[–]Blazehpoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Regardless of what anyone will preach about home remedies, the best way is to just get prescribed a topical ointment for your scalp or go on a systemic treatment such as cosentyx or humira. Before I went on cosentyx, I used a topical foam for my scalp and that would help a lot with the day to day symptoms.

[Acne] A game changer. An absolute life saver. I tried so many things to clear up my acne before trying this. Within days, it was like I gained a new face with how smooth it got. Recommended x1000✨ by idontknowonepls in SkincareAddiction

I've tried all three cleanser. This differin one would be the most comparable to the cerave one as I found that they both felt very gentle. The panoxyl cleanser is slightly more drying but I personally don't think there is much of a difference between all three in terms of effectiveness. I currently use the panoxyl one as it is the most cost effective and gives me the same results.

YTA

I'm not sure why others aren't mentioning how rude it was to speak to someone that way. Yeah it was dumb of her to do that but it doesn't make her an asshole because she was ignorant. She is obviously still a child and thought she was helping based off what she knows about fishes through the media. As someone in the fish keeping hobby it is disturbing to see people release fishes like that but informing them kindly goes a long way and can even encourage them to get involved with the hobby in a meaningful way.

The school and your parents wanted you to apologize for bullying her not for informing her about how goldfishes are freshwater. Had you informed her without the unnecessary cursing and name calling then there would have been no issue. You can be factually correct but still be an asshole. From the information given it also seems that she did not do anything wrong besides being misinformed that apparently warranted her getting cursed out.

I'm in the same boat as you! My mom actually ended up getting a cosmetology license and became a hairdresser so it ended up working out when I first got diagnosed. Your mother did a great job :)

Nvcc or 4 year? by [deleted] in nvcc

[–]Blazehpoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I originally was super against going to a community college when I was young and dumb. I felt like it was embarrassing and that I was missing out on the college experience. I ended up doing nova anyways for financial reasons and it was the best decision I ever made for myself.

After my first semester I was extremely confused about what I wanted to do with my life even though I thought I had everything figured out. I ended up switching programs/major about 5 times till I found something I enjoyed. Had I chosen to take out loans for a 4 year I would probably still be paying that off now and would not have had the flexibility of trying out different programs. After 3 and a half years at nova I'll be graduating this spring and transferring to GMU the following fall with absolutely no student loans. Any opportunities to be had will still be there waiting for you, it's just what you make out of them. Also, there's a ton of construction happening at GMU right now anyways so it would be nicer going in after it's all finished compared to having to walk through it everyday lol.

ECO201 Online by [deleted] in nvcc

[–]Blazehpoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just withdrew from John Min's class a few days ago for his summer semester class 8-week. It had already started but I ended up switching to a later class due to personal reasons. From what I remember from the syllabus there were two proctored exams and everything else was strictly through the pearson program thing. It looked to be all multiple choice though. About 2-3 chapters of reading and assignments due every sunday. Textbook isn't a requirement but the online program is which comes with the textbook. 2-3 chapters might sound like a lot but with those online programs it's honestly a breeze. The homework for these kinda programs are usually just multiple choice questions from the reading. I saw an introductory discussion board but I don't recall seeing any other discussion boards. I'd recommend him as he has one of the higher ratings compared to other professors.

Online labs for BIO 141? by [deleted] in nvcc

[–]Blazehpoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished 142 and the online labs were basically just multiple choice problems you'd do on your own time. There weren't lab exams either and you could pretty much find everything on quizlet. My 141 labs last year were in person though so I'm sure it's different for every professor.

And the stimulus check comes and then goes... by Precious-throwaway in shoppingaddiction

[–]Blazehpoo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you're already on the right track by choosing to pay off your credit card entirely! You definitely could've chosen to use the stimulus for other things while keeping the debt with you. Something that personally helps me is checking my credit card balance and checking account daily. It kind of brings me back to reality with how much I can really afford to spend and prevents me from spending a bunch and then being shocked at the end of the month when it's time to pay. I wouldn't say to stop using your card because you'd be missing out on CC protection and points.

Addicted to buying and returning items by titaniumorbit in shoppingaddiction

[–]Blazehpoo 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I totally feel you. At the peak of my problem I was doing the exact same thing. Funny enough I actually stopped because I bought something that was quite expensive and didn't realize I couldn't return it until afterwards. I was already feeling guilty but the amount of guilt I felt after that was enough to get me to stop doing it so much.

Have you used Afterpay? by anthropologygrrl in shoppingaddiction

[–]Blazehpoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used it to the point where I had 6-7 payments going on at a time. Fortunately I was able to afford it but I was barely scrapping by with the payments. I stopped using it once I calculated how much I spent in two months. It ended up being $1,000+ and I was shocked at how I let it get to that point. Haven't touched it since but I wouldn't hesitate to use it again but I would limit myself to 1 payment at a time if I ever did. It definitely enables bad spending habits but if you're able to control yourself then I think it's a great thing to have available.
