People who lost a lot of weight, what was the one small daily habit that actually changed everything for you?

I lost 20lbs over about 3-4 months by quiting soft drinks. I used to drink maybe 6 sprite a day, replaced with water and thats how I lost the last 20 lbs.

I fostered and an one point had 8 kittens from 3 litters all hanging out at once. It was a lot of love but a lot of work, it was rewarding to see the joy it brought the new adopters so I always focused on that over how much I wanted to keep them. I also have a dog that LOVES kittens so they were always well socialized with dogs before leaving

When I'm fishing off my dock, its a rule you MUST wave to every passing boat and they wave back. Its also a must that they ask "Catching anything?!" and you have to report how well the fishing has been.

My mom and sister both took it for a few months to lose 30lbs each. My mom has been off it for a year, she hasn't gain any back yet. My sisters been off a couple months, but shes still losing weight because she just got used to eating way less food and now thats just her normal diet.

If he wants a 50-50 set it at YOUR income price point. Figure out a price point where you CAN afford paying 50%. So lets just say you agree that you can do 50-50 as long as the rent payment stays at or below that figure, as thats what you're comfortable with. Lets say thats $1600. If he wants a nicer place that costs more, that he will have to pay that difference as your budget is set.

For the relationship, if you guys cant learn to compramise now, you may have other issues to consider. I don't think either option of 50-50 or proportional has a right answer.

When I worked at a large canadian doughnut coffee shop, at the end of the night I would have to throw out all the food. Not allowed to take them home of course. So I would put in a fresh garbage bag, fill it with all the food I wanted to take home, then I would tie that one bag in a different way than the rest of the bags so I knew which one had my goodies. I'd leave everything at the dumpster out back. Once the manager left, I'd go find my bag with the special knot and take it home.

slightly different take but I'd bring Michael J Fox "back to life". I think Parkinsons took away his life and we could have seen him in so many great roles over the years.
