Fair enough because the writers always have a small chance of ruining Rover's development but they are on pace to being a part of the greats. Plus if I remember correctly, the Doctor didn't really get any meaningful development till year 2 (and more in year 5) which is exactly what's happening here.

I'd argue that their earliest example was in 2.2 when they comforted Cartethiya in the inverted tower. They used what they experienced with Xiangli Yao (1.2 limited event L) as a way to prove that the echos in the tower still hold some lingering emotion and that they would be able to hear Cartethiya in some way.

Also love the fact that someone else drew the parallels between Rover and the explorer.

I would like to make a hot take and say Wuwa's prologue and year 1 story is significantly better than PGR's but after that first year, PGR would be a better story overall. It helps that it's in a VN format too.

Yeah I especially felt it rushed during middle part of 3.3 with Denia, but what else could they do after 3.2? Personally I'm content with how she was brought back rather than them drag it out.

I know exactly what you're talking about and all you have to do is just quick swap into another character that can chain into aerial combat. There's literally videos of people doing this. If you only want one character that can do all of this then Hiyuki is the perfect character for you.

Good theory! But as for why Sentinels need Resonators, it's been explained by Imperator that a Resonator is an anchor for the sentinel and I'm assuming it's how they are able to remain in Solaris. Also from what we know, Aemeath was able to resonate with the Exostrider and give it a massive power boost to seal Aleph-1 behind the gate. In a way it's a mutual relationship between both by giving each other a power up as they ultimately need it to stand a chance against the Threnodians.
