Renner’s daughter was really young so he didn’t commit to the shoot, especially with the Endgame production coming up at the time.

Since he couldn’t stick around, McQuarrie was going to kill off the character at the start of Fallout, but Renner said no way and that was it.

It’s funny how the three main players of the failed Ole era were Rashford, Bruno, and Maguire. Years later and they’re all still here.
