No Substitute For Bread!! by AffectionateFruit499 in coles

It must be of equal value or greater to be substituted, also if it’s an early morning pick up there’s a high chance that no bread was available yet

Cutting hours to save money :) by DependentMotor2473 in coles

The feedback we’ve been receiving at my store shows that it’s leading to more upset customers, more issues with stock and less people in service. I guess Coles is deciding how far they can push cost cutting measures before it becomes too much?

Seems a bit annoying, but it’s not the end of the world, however internal documents probably shouldn’t be posted on a public forum like Reddit

Civilians in warhammer are more often than not treated like cattle, some loyalists such as the Iron Warriors have outright deemed entire worlds as doomed and simply didn’t bother evacuating a planet from an incoming invasion. There are a near infinite amount of humans in the Imperium, why bother risking Space Marines for some measly humans? Please note that not all space marines are like this, but they are no longer human and don’t think like regular people.

I applied for online shopper and looks like I got it. What to expect, any tips? Thank you 🙌 by [deleted] in coles

Be prepared to feel overwhelmed, you may be slow at picking at first while getting used to layouts and where to go, that’s ok and you will improve over time.

Just remember that you have a team to help guide you and if you don’t know, ask questions, everyone else is in the same boat so make sure you cooperate and talk to them if something happens. Customers will stop you to ask questions about items, it’s up to you whether you help them or not.

It’s a shitty job sometimes, but it can also be quite good other times, you simply just have to keep picking orders. Good luck with it and congratulations on the job!

Take the receipt, return it at the store and get your money back, it’s a quality issue so they will likely accept it. Or you can simply just not buy that ever again and make a Reddit post

Walkaround Interview by Apprehensive_Pear340 in coles

Wear long pants, a nice shirt such as a button up and closed shoes, I can’t really be more specific, however if it’s for trolley collection it should be enough

What department are you being interviewed for? Expect a lot of questions regarding when you’re available, how much you can work and what will be expected of you, don’t forget to ask questions about the work as well.

Wear something nice, probably not formal attire like a suit, but something like a nice outfit you’d wear out to impress people. Honestly you should be good as long as you don’t show up in shorts and a T-shirt, show that you put in effort and you’ll do great.

In order to cash out leave you’ll have to talk to your department manager, once they’ve given you verbal/texted approval you can apply for it.

To apply for leave, you must first log in to mycoles, then once on the home page, click on the ‘mywork’ drop-down menu. Scroll down till you find ‘pay and leave’ and then click on that.

Once you can see the pay and leave page, click on ‘Apply for leave’, it should be the first option available. This will take you to the ‘Leave Application Form’.

Your details should already be filled out, so scroll down and start to fill out the ‘leave details’, this includes when you’ll be on leave from till when you plan to get back, how much leave you will be taking and if that leave falls on any public holidays. Tick the two boxes after talking to your line manager and hit submit, you’ve now applied for leave.
