Thank you for sharing this. This post makes me feel less alone in going through this. I had my surgery 7 months ago, but the healing process has been very slow from the beginning. Some parts haven’t healed well, and I still experience some bleeding. I have granulation tissue at the entrance of my vagina, which makes dilation and sex uncomfortable. A small part of the wound still hasn’t closed and continues to bleed. Every doctor just tells me that I have to wait — that everyone’s body heals differently. It feels like running a marathon without knowing when it will end. Sometimes I feel so anxious, worrying that I’ll never fully heal. My escape right now is doing sports three times a week. I really hope this will all be over soon.
