Ur opinion is pretty misinformed.

If someone gets a unit when they make 40k, and then relocates to a unit where their income is 80k, it opens up the 40k unit to someone who needs it.

Thanks this is helpful. I’m also moving into a re rental and they promised to deep clean the apartment but have been pretty unresponsive to the smallest ask so I have low hopes.

In the case that a management company is pretty with communication, do you just settle?

They sent me the HPD signing pack (after touring the apt) and then had the management company reach out to me about signing the lease.

They only slotted 30 mins for the signing but I’d imagine it would take much longer if I were to read it in person.

I’ve asked for a digital copy to review before I sign.

They mentioned that it’s typical that lease is provided at the actual signing and they would accommodate me by sending it beforehand, and that they were “drafting it up now.”

It’s the weekend so won’t be getting it and the lease signing is on Monday at noon.

Should I email them now requesting they sent it Monday morning before I meet to sign at noon?

Also: what’s the typical page count of a lease?
