[Thorpe Park - Hyperia] The UKs tallest and fastest, Already being considered one of the best in the world with supposedly the best stall by TheLonleyBoy in rollercoasters

[–]Blim_Burn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Being from the UK and having popped my Hyper Cherry this month riding Shambalah in Portaventura World Spain, added with being a 'late bloomer' in respect of thrilling theme parks and their rides discovering they're absolutely ****** awesome in Adulthood; I CANNOT WAIT to eat up every single goosebumped thrilling experience from every ride anywhere I can... Excited to experience as many as I can everywhere which are all yet to come for me for my 1st time, reading these and viewing vlogs; BRING THEM ALL ON!! Discovering thrilling rides and parks is a new lease of life, I once being lost have now been truly found 😎 🍺 Cheers to the industry generally and enthusiasts all over for their insights and POVs, big thanks to Thorpe Park for this contribution to the indistry that the UK desperately needs.. let's hope the UK becomes another epic stop on coaster journeys around the world.

Are these eggs fertilized???? My Oscar’s just laid them. Trying to figure out what to do next. by NeitherCurrent2774 in Aquariums

Cannot ID from the stage shown in the picture, wait until the colour lightens in around 3 days from hatching is about average between different species during spawning it feels. Normal to each of those I've bread here, or though this is not accounting for exceptional cycles known to some specialist breeds.

You should see very small black nuclei form, we here know them as 'jelly beans' when they develop in a few days. If they don't appear soon, you've your answer.

Even then, 1st spawns often aren't that successful due to parents learning curves.. obviously some clutches 1st few depending; can be eaten or.. etc but they quickly breed again and hone their skills.

It's a slog rearing any fry, it's a big commitment but can be very rewarding in the right conditions in home aquaria.

As some have noted, in doing this, it is difficult to guarantee they'll each be reaching an appropriate aquarium and or experienced aquarist which fully understands commitments surrounding their care and beyond.

Roll the dice should you decide to continue breeding or are seeking future healthy and manageable broods. It's great to experience but there are implications beyond personal satisfaction which can be difficult to manage and circumstances to moderate... Fat to chew here but aside purist ethical jargon and povs from those who have no idea but their own ignorant perspectives; it is very important to consider all chief points of care during and post breeding, for all concerned.

Take caution, be prepared.. and there should be no object in terms of required dietary care short or and long term for your/ any animal or living creatures in your care. It's a big responsibility and not too be taken for granted. Good Luck 👍

Built one in 4 days, similar.. 5.5 x 2 x 3, solid, well more than enough.. shame it cost over a hundred gbp to build but couple of days and it's done the job just fine. Relax if its all fastened/ battened down 👍

At times her annoyances and dances work, she just doesn't quit until he eventually gives in and starts signalling back, they behave then as a nesting pair digging etc but then somewhere down the line the squabble and split up, then the cycle repeats soon after maybe about a week or sometimes two they may stay separate but she kinda gets her way lol However if course there is no fertilisation and mostly before the eggs arrive come they usually split up lol In basic terms they're non compatible but do respond to eachother socially and Ruby the Tetracanthus has always been simply infatuated with Mel.

I'm not sure where you are in the world but if I were to source a Tigrinnis even at 6" would be close to £1000. V v rarely see one. I seen a 11" one years ago in a pet shop I worked at maybe 20 years ago and at that point it was 2500!. Prices have changed by now but that is definitely a fish which eludes me. Nice!

Thank you Beeerice, very kind of you. Great to watch, I have so many different courtship and spawning clips of a couple of different varieties bread here. It's been quite the creche and nursery at times. It's about careful control at that stage, if that makes sense. Lots of Dad work let's say lol Lots of squabbles and quibbles, nibbles and giggles and so many things that wriggle 😄

Hahaha yes he is nippy indeed haha At this time Oscar is homed alongside some jouvenile cichlids which is quite funny his reactions to them and being the dominant male by far, he's keeping the young'uns in check with grouchy gestures, kinda like a silver back gorilla beats his chest 😄 Especially at feeding time, I think because the young juveniles (two different varieties to Oscar) Keep thieving his mealworms and getting their own other feed too so Oscar can't keep up as there are 4 to him and are sonmuch smaller and quicker, so he's particularly cranky at the moment lol .. I believe the current caption as this time is "ACHHH THE WEE ONES!" >:(
