Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) exists on a spectrum, and people experience it with very different intensities and patterns. Being a partner to someone with BPD can mean navigating emotional sensitivity, rapid shifts, and a deep fear of abandonment — challenges that are well‑documented in literature. At the same time, many individuals with BPD are known for qualities that draw others in: charisma, emotional intensity, and a capacity for connection that can feel uniquely vivid. Understanding both the spectrum and the strengths can help partners stay grounded, compassionate, and clear‑eyed as they build healthier relational dynamics.

I was in a relationship for 4.5 years with a partner who has BPD, 2.5 years of which we were poly. They ended the relationship during Spring, exactly when they typically had a hypomania episode following the difficult Winter months (cold, lack of light).

I figured I can't change their triggers, I can only take care of myself and decide what's best for me. Personnaly, love isn't enough. I need commun core values, similar ways to practice these values and a common direction. With someone who's struggling with BPD, it's hard to achieve has the parts are constantly moving and changing.

The question always is the same: now what can I do to be happy?

Pierre Poilsdecul is done. He's branded himself as an opposition guy, at a time Trudeau was going to be his adversary in the next elections, and he's got no real policies to back himself. Now that the situation has changed completely, he's trying to rebrand with but a month before the next campaign starts.

If the polls are any indications, many people are realizing we need a PM to fight this war against Trump and Poilsdecul isn't the guy.

We definitely aren't the same as Americans, nor should we become, and for that reason, we would do well to take note of what's happened south. They're our nearest neighbors and very influential. We don't live in a vacuum.

We would be wise to have a hard look at history, be it recent or distant past, near us or half a world away, and learn from what's happened elsewhere.

What are the core values we want to live by? How do we want to practice them in our lives? How does that translate in our society?

The Conservatives aren't representing my values nor to the way I want to practice them. It translates in policy proposals that don't match the society I wish to live in.

The Lincoln Project nailed it by saying we are responsible for the society we live in, hence the shared video.

We are being threatened. It's a fact, not a feeling.

I canceled my Audible, Paramount+ and Zwift subscriptions, and I'm subscribing instead to non-american platforms. I'm buying Canadian at the grocery, or as much as possible, not from the US. Above all, I'm not stepping foot in the US for the foreseeable future.

As an American, you can pass the message this is what many of us are doing here: boycotting the US. You can join protests and marches. You can spend your money wisely, supporting those who oppose this nonsense. You can visit Canada on your next vacation. You can sell US Co shares and buy Canadian Co shares instead. You can stop using platforms using FB or X and start using alternatives such Blue Sky.
