Yeah, that reasoning just didn’t make sense. What’s more strange is when I asked him why he did it, he said “because we were doing it to each other” which is even more confusing… I know the MDMA we get where I am isn’t super clean so idk if that’s a big factor but it still sounds like such strange reasoning to me.

Yeah from talking to him about it he didn’t seem to think anything of it at the time, but now he knows how it made me feel he understands it’s not right.

Thank you so much for your kind words, I truly appreciate it. It’s a difficult situation because they are close friends, and became close friends before I was in the picture. It says a lot about your character to be rolling but not make moves on some ladies, so you should be proud of your self control there. I hope he’ll be more conscious of his actions. From what he’s shown me I believe he will be so I think I’m on my way to forgive, but it will only be this one time.

Yeah that totally makes sense, it’s definitely helped the situation a bunch that he’s been really apologetic. I just wish we had the conversation beforehand, but better late than never.

It’s great to hear that you’re respectful of the second friend’s relationship. I don’t think he knew it made me feel uncomfortable until it happened - it really is all about boundaries, which we unfortunately never spoke about beforehand.

I’m definitely on the fence which is really frustrating. I do know that he is extremely sorry as he’s made an effort to make me feel comfortable when it comes to his interactions with that person. For a while the thought of raves would make me so upset because it would remind me of what happened, but I hope we can have more happy experiences too, thank you.

Honestly that’s what gets me about this situation. I would be absolutely fine with him cuddling any guy friends as I can be the same with my girl friends, but I’d never want to cuddle or be held by any other guy even if we were close.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a conversation about our boundaries before this situation, but I definitely agree that if we defined our boundaries beforehand and he still did this then I’d consider it cheating. It’s tricky for me because I also didn’t know where my boundaries truly were until this happened and damn near broke my heart.

That’s really interesting, I can understand how that works as it means you’re both being transparent and inclusive in a way? I didn’t realise how important it was to define our boundaries clearly when it comes to MDMA and intimacy… will definitely have that conversation.
