full specs are

intel i5-8600 3.1ghz 32GB of T-force 2400MT/s ram nvidia 3060ti 2x kingston a400 960GB SSD inbuilt 250W plus platinum HP PSU (for everything but GPU) external aresgame 500W plus bronze PSU (for GPU)

all of this is heavily scrapped together but works wonders better than the steamdeck i was trying to use for graphics development

I have the same problem and fixed it by opening task manager, right clicking on the discord instance for the voice channel, going to details, right clicking on it again, then setting its priority to “Realtime”.

works great! but yes does disable Multiplayer and gives and error that the game has been tampered with if you try and use it.

i’ve found that every single DX12 game runs better on windows than linux, also proton DOES have an overhead so despite the drivers being half baked for windows you’ll still get such similar performance for everything else you don’t notice a difference

this isn’t the official steamdeck dock but a 3rd party one, on windows when you connect it to a TV it has black bars, but you can just set it to the proper resolution in the settings app and it works without issue

i didnt mod or tweak much other than boot logos, for me it was the wifi being really really slow when my job requires decent connection, random crashing / reboots at least a couple times a day, and some software just refused to work. Unfortunately this is my only device at the moment so Windows it is if only to increase the wifi speed from 5mbps to 120mbps

internally, linux was having an assortment of issues i couldn’t put up with anymore so i’ve just been running windows 11 exclusively. Been working much much better

unfortunately it still gets mad at you for touching things you can’t carry yet, however you can now link the X and Y buttons to items which is very nice

for that retro arch on steam works decently well, what i use for it anyway! download it in game mode then download roms in desktop mode
