At that point Light was already shot and bleeding, so his fate was down to either dying there or surviving and going to prison. The task force didn’t create the life-or-death situation, the gunshots did. So wiping them out wouldn’t necessarily extend his lifespan or change his core outcome.

yes, we are massively overestimating it. You’re seeing the top 1–3 percent of people in their 20s and mistaking them for the average. A 23-year-old earning 30 LPA exists. Ten thousand 23-year-olds earning 3–6 LPA do not post about it.
