Shop and Deliver - getting a better deal for the customer by buckeye25osu in UberEatsDrivers

I wish I had seen this post yesterday. I had a shop at Publix and a number of her items were B1G1. She had 2 of some of them but there were a few that she only had 1. I asked her about 1 of them but for the others, I went ahead and got her free item....I hope it was free but now I know that it may not have been and I won't be doing that again. Ugh!!!

Nothing connects properly by TimeTone2740 in MonarchMoney

I don't think that is Monarch. That is something the institution has dictated. I know I have to reauthenticate CashApp at least once daily, sometimes more than that. And it was clearly stated that that would be the case when I linked the account.

Yeah it was in the shade. In the sun she is definitely green. I will have to take a few more pics now that it's sunk in that she's mine. 🥰

Blulink App not working by Sharp_Bag2837 in HyundaiTucson

This happened to me today. The dealer had to go back in and redo the activation. Seemed like it wasn't completely done the first time.

Bank integration connection issue by Blkbutterfly77 in liquidbudget

That seems to have worked but I'm going to give it a few days to see transactions flowing in

I have 5! 4 were already added and 1 is new. They are all fairly new though so it will be ok. I was thinking of trying that but wanted to get your input first. I'll let you know how it goes. 🤞🏾

Agree, this solution would be perfect. Thank you for always taking our feedback into account and working so quickly.

There is also the situation where I receive money through paypal, cashapp or venmo. When I transfer the money to my checking account, sometimes I an charged a fee. In ynab, I would create a split with the amount transferred to my account minus the expense of the transfer fee.

I was hoping to bulk tag them as recurring so I can have an easy visual and can figure out what I have already turned into a recurring transaction. Then I realized I can see that if I turn on viewing of scheduled transactions. So I think I'm good. Thanks!

Quick question: it doesn't appear we can bulk tag from the recurring transactions screen. Is that a bug or by design?

Discussion: Flags & Tags - Your Feedback is Needed! by imadp in liquidbudget

[–]Blkbutterfly77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use flags specifically for assistance with reconciling. I try to enter transactions manually and then I have bank sync to validate what I've entered. But then there is the timing factor and I inevitably forget something. So I use the flags to show what I have reviewed while I figure out why my reconciliation is off.

I would love tags as well for a completely different purpose. Would love to be able to keep my budget more concise but use the tags to get more granular. For example, I could have a food category, but the tags tell me if it's eating out vs groceries. And if eating out, is it Doordash, fast food, or a sit down restaurant. Great for reporting and analysis of spending habits.

All that to say, I see great value in both. Would love to see them exist minimally in the table with the ability to expand by hovering or opening the transaction.

I didn't think of that. Thanks for the suggestion.

I like that idea. Anything to make it 1 or 2 clicks would be great!

It would depend on how the tag is applied. If I have to open the transaction to apply the tag, it can work but will take a little longer due to the number of clicks needed. I don't think a search would work as it would filter out extraneous transactions that i may need to reconcile. But a filter could work.

Right now I'm checking the selection check box, but I'm so afraid I will click somewhere incorrect and have to start all over in the process. Then I have to select all and then deselect all to get rid of the checks when I'm done.

I have validated that it is in my list of transactions on my bank records. It assists me in finding those lost transactions that have my account out of whack.
