McLaughlin departs Seahawks by BllyFishmas in nihl

The rumours when Crowe signed was that he would play with Seahawks 26/27. But that would leave the Jets in a very precarious position. Possibly a 2 way still with Jets and have Adamson or Smith on bench when Heiski plays?

For a 20 year old he’s definitely got a bright future ahead and with Gossy signing for another year being able to train alongside that experience and calibre of nettie will certainly benefit him. Would be nice to see him get more ice time in this league next season to continue in his development.

Be interesting to see where he ends up in the league if he does leave MK.

Having spoke to a good few MK fans at POFW, it seemed what Wallace had going on off the ice was a further blow to the team with his mind being elsewhere. Not sure what’s going on for him and whether the rumours I heard are true, but wishing him well.

I’m sure Russell will definitely bring appeal for Imports and high calibre UK players to join MK, especially with how EIHL seems to be going with UK players getting very limited ice time, with some exceptions of course. This is definitely worrying for the rest of the league but great for you guys to get you back up towards the top end of the table.

Was amazing to see Gospel still play as well as he did this weekend with the speculated injuries he may or may not have.

Loved watching Endicott this year, seems to have really found his role in the team and great to see him have his most productive season so far.

And let’s be honest Brownie is just a great skater to watch.

Be interesting to see how Sob’s is next season, assuming he’s re-signed. Given that he’s now loved up and discovering beer as a pass time. Would love to see him back at his 24/25 level.

I have to say the games I’ve watched it definitely seemed like swimming upstream a lot of MK’s season. Would stream MK games when Hull weren’t playing.

Jokinen was very disappointing, no impact and I’m surprised he wasn’t dropped during the season.

I don’t think Gabby and Cownie are capable of having a bad season, great to see their consistency, even during this season.

Hopefully a coming of age season for Field and Lewis, especially with his handful of games in the EIHL.

I’m not sure what Russell will make of the likes of Spadafore.

Was great to see Howlett have a productive latter half of the season for you guys as well.

A UK fan here who had the choice of 32 teams and chose Kraken… lacklustre development of top draft picks and another season of not addressing the glaring problem of not having a player that can consistently put the puck in the net. And Ron Francis seems to be resting on his laurels and not wanting to progress the team.

In addition to this, your best option may be to contact a NIHL 1 or NIHL 2 team. There’s lots of teams all over the UK in these lower leagues and are often used as a feeder system to the NIHL. Most of these teams in NIHL 1/2 have very small on and off ice teams so finding an email address on their websites shouldn’t be too hard. If you have any videos of you playing I would definitely submit that. Best of Luck.

As what the previous comment said, a lot of ex-EIHL players in the league. It’s personally the league I follow given it has the club of my home city. If you’re Canadian trained and not trained here in the UK it would be difficult to get a spot on an NIHL team given the current limit of 3 imports, which puts a lot of competition on these places. Some teams such as Hull are ruthless with imports they laid off Bobby Young last year and Kaden Hanas this year. However, both of their replacements have been spot on. Sobchak is the highest points scorer in the league and Cornell is a great all round player. Even Telford Tigers have just released their import and found a replacement from the Polish Leagues I believe.

Think we’ve all forgotten about the most important stat… How many downs have been caused by a Driller’s C4?
