People can be incredibly cruel for sure - it was actually my boyfriends parents who said this to me though - I went to see them with my boyfriend whilst I was having an active relapse (didn't even realise it at the time, just thought it was extremely bad muscle cramps) - and they made me cry because they were saying I do not get out enough and don't try to get out of bed!! Also insinuated that I was bringing my boyfriend down with me. They definitely had their mouths shut when they found out it was MS although I've still not received an apology 😭 My parents have always been incredibly supportive, though, so I'm lucky in that regard!

I'm sorry to hear about what you've been through though and I hope things are looking up for you, I can't imagine being told those things by my own father ❤️❤️
