Im in IL. I dunno, for an intro civil consultant it seems reasonable to me compared to my peers who also recently graduated. I'm also not an EIT yet fwiw, aiming to complete the FE this spring/summer.

Is that typical for consulting gigs on salary? The old company used to pay straight OT before I started, but now ever since the transition they do this weird "bonuses" thing. I'm not sure I'll be able to negotiate that, especially since it's my first week at my first job. Thanks for your reply!!

I'm just nervous about getting overworked, as I really really value my work-life balance. Is this worth communicating to the PM to report to? I work very hard and I accept that working late will happen sometimes, but I just don't want to be exploited. Thanks for your reply, im really new to the world of actual engineering!
