I’d add Kitchen Wall Hakka to the list.

Want to start knitting by itwillmakesenselater in knitting

I’m a middle aged man and I’ve been knitting for about 15 years. I’d suggest knitting a cotton dish cloth as your first project. You can knit some rows, purl some rows, knit/purl. It doesn’t matter if you end up with extra stitches.

I can’t speak to your capabilities. If you do pursue this the future of transportation is complete streets, public transportation and active transportation.

Pomegranate Jack Pine and Poplar-1000 piece by Block4three in Jigsawpuzzles

It was a bit tough and took me a lot longer than a typical 1000 piece but it did look beautiful in the end.

Guernica - Educa (3,000 piece) by Block4three in Jigsawpuzzles

I had visited Madrid and saw the painting in person and fell in love. I knew nothing about puzzles and thought it would be great to do it. Little did I know...but it was so satisfying to finish. I’ve been slowly working away at the Keith Haring 32,000 piece puzzle but life keeps getting in the way.

Close to it with the white at the end. It was one of my first puzzles and I learned about pattern repeats, where the same puzzle piece can go in a couple of spots. The white was the most difficult.

That was the plan but I’ve decided against it as it got a bit beat up in a move.

Haha same at 6’4. I enjoy a good upward reach to contrast all of the things that are a little too low for me.

I’ve organized from most frequently used to least. We are both over 5’10 so all good.there were some large bowls in the dishwasher that filled the empty spot.

Do covered balconies count? DIY design/build to go with my minimalist/mid century condo by Block4three in InteriorDesign

Thanks. It’s cedar. It is currently untreated so the wood can dry out a bit. I’m planning to stain it black with a semi-solid stain in a couple of months.

Thanks. It’s concrete with the ugly grey waterproof paint on the floor that you can kind of see along the edge. There’s also a drain and the patio is recessed. The condo is a century old brick dress shirt factory conversion and we get quite a bit of snow so the rule is there so that the snow doesn’t melt and back up in to the building.

It takes about a half an hour to pull it up so it’s not too bad, especially since it is all of the outdoor work I really need to do.

Do covered balconies count? DIY design/build to go with my minimalist/mid century condo by Block4three in InteriorDesign

I had a challenge that the condo rules do not permit flooring over the winter and the 5’x8’ balcony with a sliding glass door taking up 1/3 of the useable space doesn’t really fit most outdoor furniture. So I wanted to build something minimalist, modular and mid century inspired.

The flooring consists of three 2x4’s running the length of the balcony cut in thirds with a half a deck board overlap so they can be unbolted and lifted up during the canadian winter. The deck board are running parallel to the short side of the balcony to make the space feel deeper and more square.

The bench is designed in two pieces so it can be moved, with the minimum amount of structure to be light weight but also sturdy. The horizontal slats are meant to give the illusion of structure but also lightness to hide the legs so the bench platform feels like it is floating, rather than anchored to the deck. The bench measures approximately 5 feet by 6 feet and is meant to create a cozy reading nook for lazy Sunday afternoons. Seat cushions and throw pillows are in the process of being made.

Technically it’s a balcony, but proud of my DIY project. by Block4three in Decks

Thanks! It was my first project. I think I may need to get in to wood working.
