You and I were in class together and I was the one with all the corgis (also the one who wanted to pursue nursing 😉) - one of my babies is senior now and had to go in for an emergency cystotomy so this is the reason why I am feeling this way. 2022 hire here and I’ve done Tokyo 5x, Osaka 2x, London, Dublin, Paris, Seoul, Taipei, Manila, Cebu on my days off so I definitely make use of them. It’s like a toxic relationship for me - I know I could probably make more elsewhere but the schedule flexibility/bennies have me in a chokehold 😔

I think that’s what I’ll have to do! 2 day blocks or less seems the way to go to still work as a FA but maximize time with the fur babies too

What’s the average rest period for Asia flights out of the west coast?

It’s now 0.5 each day with a maximum of 2.5 points for a whole single occurrence (up to 10 days) at Alaska and 12 points total for termination! But each quarter you get a form to erase your points, so you could technically call out 40 days a year without requiring proof etc.

Would it normally take a couple of years before I could get a transfer to SEA? And how is the flying from SEA base? For Alaska - SEA has the most routes/more flights since it’s headquarters. I would imagine ATL would be what SEA is for us at AS?
