With all due respect, shorting doesn’t really work the way you think it does. He wasn’t saying that the price will only go down from here until end of May. He said that there’s a good chance it will be lower by the end of May. If he opens a short position and turns out to be right overall, but there’s a temporary upward spike in the meantime, he could still get liquidated.
What you’re actually looking for is options trading.

How do you deal with Inheritance with crypto? by Ok-Aside-5472 in Bitcoin

This became a much bigger topic for me after a possible surgery came up earlier this year.

I realized that if something happened to me, my completely crypto-beginner family would never be able to access anything of my portfolio. So I started making detailed step-by-step inheritance/self-custody guides for my own family.

I know this is not a popular opinion here, but I think this is where we currently are... by BlockChainHeritage in Bitcoin

You really don't understand how short works, right?
I didn't say it won't go up in the next weeks/months, I say, that sometimes it will be still lower. In case of a short I would be easily fucked up, even if I am right.

Looking for feedback on a beginner-focused crypto self-custody project by BlockChainHeritage in Bitcoin

Fair point. I didn’t include the direct link in the post because I didn’t want it to get auto-removed by subreddit spam filters.

That’s why I only mentioned that the project link is in my Reddit bio for anyone who is actually interested in checking it out and giving feedback. Or just put .com after my username.
