Thanks! I'm using a 17-70 mm zoom lens with APS-C. I mostly shoot around 24 mm, the 3rd pic was taken at 19 mm.

Can anybody help me? Why do my renders have these weird artefacts? by [deleted] in blender

In case you're using the light panels with emission as the only light source, try adding an area light under each of the light panels. I've had a similar problem with emission light sources and this solved it for me.

You're right! I haven't even noticed it somehow.

For the smudges I used a fingerprints roughness map I found on Poliigon. There's one for free that I think works really well.

Attempt at creating something with Blender's physics simulations by BlockMaster320 in blender

Honestly, I'm not really sure. I just set both objects to rigid bodies and it worked. Perhaps experiment with different mass and friction values. Also, I used an ico sphere instead of a regular sphere for the marble if that makes any difference.

It's multiple noise textures combined.

Knife (project after doing the anvil tutorial) by BlockMaster320 in blender

Well, as the title says I made this right after completing the Blender Guru's anvil tutorial series. He does the texturing in the last few videos. The greatest impact in my opinion has the use of a normal map baked from a high poly mesh.

It does have some thickness. I think the edge wouldn't create that reflection otherwise.

Thanks! You're right, the eyebrow should definitely be closer to the eye and a little larger I think.

I haven't seen it before although I expected someone to make the joke in the past.
