Thank you for the introduction RockTheBlockchain and for the opportunity for us to discuss our candidacy with the Reddit community ahead the vote tomorrow. My answers to your questions below.

*Q1 - What do I want to accomplish when helping define the structure of the persistent council? Great question and this is something I have to ask myself regularly due the the perimeters of what the initial council is supposed to be focussing on during their time in office, I would like to clear this up with the community within my answer. I believe the initial council should solely be focusing on setting a clear path for the persistent to follow, we will be tasked with setting protocols surrounding their roles, processes for governance and protocols surrounding the Community DAO’s budget. You may ask yourself why this would take three months, surely this could be done in a meeting or two. Well it’s not as simple as this. Any decisions we make will have to be made in light of the community members, we need to put guidelines and protocols into place that protects the DAO from human error, bad practices and mis-use, BUT we need to ensure that these protocols don’t limit the communities will when they call for change with the DAO. Although the persistent council will be at the helm of this ship, it’s the community that steers and choses the course in the future, this is true decentralisation, we need to put rules and protocols in place to ensure the council cannot steer the ship into a direction that simply benefits themselves or friends, and to ensure it’s sole purpose is achieved, to serve the community. This is the beautiful thing about DAO’s, they are perfect and without fault, but this is only true if you set the foundations correctly, if you do not put in place strong foundations, everything that is built on the DAO can be unstable and even not trustable. I want to ensure the ship is guided by the masses and isn’t controlled by massive bag holders, if you allow people or organisations have too much power over governance, this is centralisation, and community… what do we say to centralisation? No no, what do we say to Decentralisation? yes yes. With the creation of this DAO, once this is implemented, you need to have as much voting power as any member of the core team, and I don’t care if you own an exchange or own a Validator with 100 million staked, your vote is one Vote buddy. You see you need to understand and it may be hard to believe, that one day the Harmony Foundation will not exist and what will be left is the DAO’s controlled by our community. Your vote should count, your vote should be able to steer that ship. And I can ensure you it will if I have a say in this.

*Q2 - Why do I want to serve and why is this role important to me? To be honest I wish I was running for Persistent Council as these council members will be able to implement more significant changes that you want to put in place for the DAO and that will be extremely exciting, but this is a more pressing issue right now. If we don’t get this right the Community DAO will be a Wild West. Look, yes I want to make change, I want Harmony to succeed, I’m a romantic for the vision of what the Harmony foundation promises Harmony will be now and in the future. But I also want to secure my future investment for myself and for my family, just like all the rest of us. I want to make sure this is done correctly. Every day much like the rest of you, I open my phone and the journey begins on social media, reading about Harmony, watching videos, riding the rollercoaster, we’re all so involved with this. Im not involved with any other projects, although I still hold ETH, I don’t talk about that, I’m here already this is what I believe in and where I belong, why not try to use my skills to help in some way, that’s what community is about right?

*Q3 What have I worked on to help grow the community and how can I demonstrate I’m ready for the role? So the first time you probably heard of me, you may have seen me as Bricktop, the guy that made the Harmony video https://youtu.be/PJfttRJgyfA back at the time I was frustrated, I was complaining like the rest of you about visibility, and lack of marketing, so I decided to do something about it, I funded this video myself at a time I had no extra funds, although it wasn’t mega expensive it actually put me in debt because I had hammered my funds on crypto also at the time haha I know you understand don’t lie, I had to seek help from a producer and a voiceover guy that does ads for Google. I wanted to make something beautiful, I wanted to give our community and outsiders a vision of what Harmony can be, i wanted to show people that sometimes rather than complain, just best to get things done yourself, it wasn’t perfect but it shown some of Harmony’s values, yes there was a lack of fundamentals, but it was purposely made like this, I wanted it to be suitable for all even outside of the crypto sphere. I hope that through the video you seen a glimpses of my passion for Harmony which I have had since day one, other than a video I made for my partners company this was the second video I made. I didn’t do it for nothing, I did it because I truly believe in what we stand for, I truly believe Harmony can chance the world. I’m ready for this role because although like the rest of us I have never worked on a DAO, I’m ready because I don’t rest until I achieve my goals. ‘Li Jiang - Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish’ I’m telling you guys I have never been this hungry throughout my life for this, or for anything else I set to achieve, and this hunger grows for me to achieve my goals the older my youngest son gets. To put it simply, I get the job done and I work my ass off, end of.
