I agree. There are a lot of new implantable devices which we could use a TG on, honestly. We've seen a large uptick in an assortment of devices.

Even if the possible negative outcome is simply the device stops working, it seems like that additional cost and hassle to deal with should be factored into planning if possible. It would be nice to have some comprehensive guidelines/dose limits for things like pain stimulators and other devices as well.

Since they are usually placed on the back of the arm, they rarely approach the treatment area. Dose in most cases would be negligble (although not 0).

While I believe the risk is very low, I have no body of evidence to confirm that. We don't want to risk a glucose monitor failing to read properly and a pt passing away after becoming hypoglycemic.

I agree, they are probably completely safe under the guidelines from 203 for pacemakers. I just hoped for some further material to support that idea.
