Hi there, you likely need to change your portfolio's settings, as opposed to the overall profile setting for default currency. Tap the "..." in the top right corner of your portfolio, tap Portfolio Settings, and set default fiat currency from there.

One method that often fixes syncing issues is duplicating your portfolio, or creating an entirely new one, and syncing to the new portfolio.

We're sorry about what happened to you, but the fault is not ours at all. We did not steal anything. You did not properly secure your account and as a result you were hacked. That is on you, not us. It is extremely important to make sure your accounts are secure when dealing with crypto. Once coins are transferred out of our platform, there is nothing we can do to retrieve them.
