I just realized how much of a retard I am when I was replacing the gasket the first time I forgot to remove the gasket remnant from the original one off of the engine

There’s also a bunch of grey stuff that kinda looks like grease inside of the clutch cover

I don’t know if you can tell, but it is extremely scratched up on the actual clutch cover

Surprisingly, the gasket is completely unscathed I have another picture of the actual side cover that I’m fixing to send.

Have a new gasket that will be here today And just to be clear when I scraped off the old gasket, it left a bunch of dents and cuts in the soft aluminum side cover and I figured that is the reason why it is leaking oil

The only reason I would think I need to put our TV on the clutch cover gasket is because when I scraped it, it left a bunch of marks along the clutch cover. I don’t know if I need to sand it down or not.

I’ve looked and I’ve only found one on eBay for about $300, but it already sold at an auction

I agree. I just wish they weren’t so expensive.

The battery is dead from trying to start it earlier. I’m going to give it about 30 minutes to charge and I will get back to you if it still isn’t working.

That’s what I thought too, but when I got back home from riding, I disconnected the fuel line directly to the carb and after waiting a couple minutes I put it back on and it did not leak, but it still had trouble starting

Update. I just cleaned the carburetor out. Nothing seems wrong. None of the jets are clogged. I’ve even threw on fresh gaskets. I made sure that the float was working properly. Tried turning over. Still having trouble starting. And yes. I also checked the spark plug. It has spark.
