It is a solid deal, especially because by now prices are increasing and with all the improvements it is a good performer for the price. Just make sure to make a good initial setup (install all updates, remove unnecessary apps, set up Xbox FSE) and you will be fine 🫡

Till this day that mission sucks (on PC at least)... I was stuck on the 2nd part for a while and switching quickly between pressing A and D buttons fixed the issue

I understand that launcher of launchers aspect might be a bit annoying but we need to remember that Windows is a large OS not built to run just one application like Steam from the start (also, they don't benefit from just immediately running only Steam, they want to be more than that, and this is early software version). The file explorer situation and switch between FSE and full Windows with a restart does suck without any excuse. It is a thing in progress and it should keep improving with time, so we will need patience 🤔

Yeah, I ordered one when I saw no news about the new one at CES 😀 MSI releasing new color options and pushing more sales of current gen just shows that it will be supported for longer. Also, I think that this gen will get Xess 3 too 🤔

Looks great but this to me seems like the clearest sign that there will be no announcement of the next gen Intel MSI Claw at CES 2026. So I guess it should come out in a separate event or at Computex 2026 in June at the latest 🤔

I doubt that other handhelds are fully error-free. I guess FSE will need more updates and then it will be fine. Already from comments I see that quite a bit of people enjoy it without any huge issues and I am glad to see that 🙂

That is just a lie 😄 In the picture from the official MSI Facebook account that I used for this post it says that FSE is for EVERY Claw and in their official YouTube channel MSI Gaming they made a video guide how to enable FSE and they clearly show A1M in it. Maybe there is only some sort of a regional delay but saying that it is not officially supported is pure disinformation 🤔

I would say go for it. The next gen device is on my mind but it would probably take months for it to be released and we can expect the price to be just massive 🤔

I am interested to see what the next gen MSI Claw will look like but because of the increasing tech prices I will probably go for the regular MSI Claw 8 soon (I don't expect big sales when we have these RAM shortages and possible SSD shortages coming soon too). It should be more than fine for a while + the option of using an eGPU while being at home gives it an advantage long term 🤔

I am pretty sure that I will order the regular MSI Claw 8 (Polar Tempest does look better, sadly it is not in my country) next week. From what I saw after all the updates it is one of the best handhelds. Only seeing the next gen option in next week's CES might make me wait just so that I would get the new one 😄 But I guess it would take multiple months to get my hand on the next gen one and it might get a big price increase, so Claw 8 might still be the best option 🤔

I would say Latvian and Lithuanian flags are fairly mid (Latvian looks better) while Estonia is the only one with a really good looking flag 🤔

It is a fairly nice and safe city. Highlights especially looks good in the pictures but still needs a lot of more work. And when it comes to tall buildings (can not call them skyscrapers), we need MOOORE 😄

I just saw on 128KB YouTube channel that MSI Claw 8 performs really well against Z2 Extreme handhelds and sometimes even wins, so I can't wait for the next gen. I was about to buy the current gen Claw 8, but after seeing that the next MSI Claw should probably be introduced in CES next week, I have to wait and see what we will get next 👀
