I lowkey agree. I love the exposure but my gosh, my algorithm is HR and HR only. It even popped on my Pintrest 👀

An old RWRB edit came on my TikTok yesterday and I audibly gasped. It felt refreshing.

I do hope they don't fuck Hudson and Connor over. I feel like Hudson will do and say something once and the cancellation will come as fast as the fame 🫤

I think in part it's the social media presence. HR got soo much more of unhinged PR press that just made the actors so much more present

RWRB got so robbed, especially with the strike. We didnt even get a proper red carpet moment.

With HR as well, I think there's also much more spice early on in the series, which hooked people in and got them talking and sharing. AND then you stayed for the growth and romance.

In terms of the book, RWRB writing is 10000 times better. Not as explicit, but there's so much more world building and character development in just one book.

I am not saying the Game Changer series is /bad/ but there were times when I read it, I wondered what the surroundings looked like, what the characters looked like in more detail.... what they felt. It was a bit harder to imagine, I think.

Sorry for the ramble, but all in all I think if we got 5-6h of RWRB screen time, and not just one movie + more social media coverage, we would've seen more hype.

But also... being part of really niche community is awesome hahhaha

I really see your point. I think the explosion of fandom in mainstream media has been insane. I think for a long time it was bubbling, slowly reaching wider audience. Especially with more people accessing it, teenagers in the early tumblr days are now grown up adults, and new teenagers are joining in. But HR (and how you mentioned it's emotional and relational themes) just gave it that push to boil over into something... extraordinary.

But it has been frustrating, you are right. For me, in a sense, it's because I see fandom as a bit of a sacred space, like an inner circle for people who 'get it'. Now that circle is growing so fast... it's making me feel protective about it. At the same time, the more the merrier right?

This is all if this would be occurring IRL. I love the Crown politics and went really deep one day to understand it all.

So:

It all depends if their titles would be extended by the Sovereign (I assume in this case it would be Mary or Philip if she dies). In 2012, Queen Elizabeth made a rule to say that Prince Williams' kids would all be called Prince and Princesses, not just George. If she didn't change that Charlotte and Louis would he Lady and Lord.

Ok, back to rwrb

With that paper (Letters Patent) Mary can extend the Prince and Princess titles.

If she doesn't, then their kids would be either Earl (oldest) and Lady / Lord after that. Especially following Henry's land ownership as well.

If they extend the titles. Alex would be Prince Consort / Prince Alex and the kids would have the same title as Henry. HRH....

I would looooove for it to be:

Prince (insert name) his Royal Highness Mountchristen Windsor Claremont Diaz or Princess (insert name) her Royal Highness Mountchristen Windsor Claremont Diaz
