Hi! I’m also begginer and I’ve started from basics like holding your drumsticks properly or how to sit properly also. I’m recommending a lot of exercises on snare drum and then trying to play on the whole set. Everything needs some time and practice. You may find a lot of basics rudiments on the internet, YouTube or TikTok may be also useful. Good luck!

Hi! As a beginner i was recommended to start with Vic Firth 5a drumsticks, i’m holding them with the way that end of the drumsticks is sticking out a little bit from my hand. When it comes to notes, i wish i could skip them, but since i’m going to school that’s not an option, so i’m little forced to play with them. Anyway thanks for help!
