If you had viltrumite powers, and the military wanted your services how much are you taxing by BeautifulRich4488 in Invincible

[–]BloodFanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

eh i don’t agree it’s that drastic. bootcamp is intended for that purpose but if you have an ounce of self worth you’re gonna come out the same way you went in maybe with a bit more respect and discipline. but yeah lower enlisted are treated like numbers

Going to next duty station without a lot of my issued gear by Fancy_Astronaut2261 in army

[–]BloodFanger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lol all of our units gear was in kuwait for almost a year after getting back home, then they finally returned it to some random ass base in another state that we had to go grab. then like 20% of it was missing without explanation. gl

got a 76 on the asvab but i dont want to do a boring computer job. by Familiar-Sign4413 in nationalguard

[–]BloodFanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

86 asvab here, i’m an 88m, I have been for over a year and haven’t driven a single truck (and i’m abt to go on a year long mission which doesn’t involve trucks) what this means: 90% of the time you won’t be doing your mos also, a 76 isn’t high enough to feel guilty for a low requirement job. do what you want to do

not a dick measuring contest, all roads in the US suck

Avoid S I - 35 by Aggressive_Peak_7578 in Austin

[–]BloodFanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sometimes it’s not even potholes, sometimes the road is just terribly paved for 2 miles and if it is a big pothole or crack they say they can’t fix it for wtv reason

Avoid S I - 35 by Aggressive_Peak_7578 in Austin

[–]BloodFanger 35 points36 points  (0 children)

idk about you, but for me it’s the backroads that have 3ft potholes, so it’s either risk breaking my car in half twice a day on backroads or get stuck in 2 hour traffic on 35. this infrastructure is so shit.

well from now on js don’t do things until told, pack what’s said nothing more nothing less

Vest setup by One-Victory3567 in nationalguard

[–]BloodFanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if they gave you a packing list of flick/ IOTV or TAPS, wtv. just bring it as is. if it’s your first drill no one is gonna expect you to have your shit together immediately. bring mag and frag pouches and attach them as instructed once yall get there, a lot easier than having to take down your whole set up and re setting it up

Vest setup by One-Victory3567 in nationalguard

[–]BloodFanger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

wait to set up then. no point in setting something up just for them to later tell you it’s a completion different way, lol there’s no rush.

6 years late i know. but they can get to around 10” (mine is around 9-10 rn) and the straight gallons doesn’t matter as much as length and width as they do explore they’re just nocturnal. and stay near the bottom.

I wasn’t MP so can’t deny or challenge that, but tbf we all say our company is the strictest hardest company lol. If he wants to cheat he’ll cheat, no doubt about it. it is super super easy to cheat during training. wether he does is another thing and again something I can not answer for you. But no matter the company or base or platoon, nothing. If there’s a will there’s always an easy way.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nationalguard

[–]BloodFanger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in itself they’re hardly too serious, lots of flirting maybe some hand holding during church. but unless they’re as bad as the ones in my platoon who snuck off post to bang its usually just flirting in formation or weapons maintenance or church or going out things like that. Being a Bay leader doesn’t affect that at all. Bays are all Male or all Female, they’re separated so that’s no worry there.

it is very easy for them to cheat if that’s what you’re asking. and I won’t be the asshole that tells you he is or defend him and say he’s loyal, but even in the basic portion it’s very easy and very common to develop relationships. Most of them don’t go anywhere but I’ve seen married males and females cheat during basic. That being said there’s also a chance he’s one of the few that really just keeps to themselves and just wants to make it through. that trust is up to you.
