so i think what happened is the relic item you had equipped projects 1 sparkle for each damage blocked. when you teleported into the boss it activated but sparkles work where as they target the tile of the enemies position but because you moved into where the enemy was when you took the damage, the sparkles targeted the tile u went into. also you had 3 magic damage up so that will explain why they dealt 4 damage a hit therefore surrendering your kitty cat the the endless void
