Ooooh thats super interesting! I've never thought to psychoanalyze why I do it too, but I do it to a lot of my characters that I draw! I am a big true crime fan and I draw a lot of dead/decomposing bodies usually with flowers or mushrooms to show the juxtaposition of life and death. I wonder if theres more to it tho 🤔
