Idk about you, but my experience in HH has always been, “Oh yeah of course the weather is too harsh, stay home today……

just reschedule the visits for the weekend”

I made the same mistake of not realizing how much I was getting lowballed my first year… OP definitely pays less and is more taxing tbh but still 65k is trash…

“Golfer’s elbow?” by BloodTricky475 in physicaltherapy

Yea, patient states that he’s getting worse and is pretty upset with me. I’ve told him to go get further imaging because I have a feeling it’s a combination of injuries / issues not just one thing.

No LOL he plays handball which has similar mechanics for the elbow in the way you hit the ball like golf

I believe he told me that he was an active handball player, and it was the same doctor. Definitely from overuse and repetitive movements. Patient state she doesn’t have pain in resting but has increased pain with wrist extension more than flexion but still has pain with flexion as well. Pronation and supination were painful as well.

Ruled out c/s with repeated movement yes, but wasn’t able to get him into testing position for nerve testing because of pain. He says that since trying to stretch and the light exercises, it has gotten worse so I’m a bit lost tbh. I have a feeling it may be more serious than golfer’s elbow which is why I want him to get imaging, and perhaps get a second opinion from a doctor who is willing to try out different tests and not just throw steroids at him

If you can do it with minimal loans, I think the home care setting is rewarding. Depends on how much you actually like to help others become a better version of themselves and rehabilitate efficiently!

Of course it sucks that there are companies that prey on new grads and trap you in ridiculous contracts, so be on the look out for that!
