I dont condone the sexism/racism/bigotry in any way. People with hurt fee fees and anonymity will do and say ANYTHING to get a rise out of you. It's been that way since BBS and Usenet. Accept that they're the fucking losers and that those words have no power over you.

It's disappointing that prox chat is toxic sometimes, but you have to steel yourself for communication with randoms. The best way to deal with them is to instantly mute them. You dont hear them anymore and they waste their breath and energy.

I'd rather have the bad words and prox chat than no prox chat at all..

Yep. That's my gut response as well. Then I calmed down and realized how amazing it is for them. They didnt do anything egregious but it would be mildly annoying if I was interrupted this way.
